#ProtectSebYALL!!!! So…I was cleaning up my computer some…and while going thru files I found SUPER OLD (Maybe the first?) Aesthetic boards I ever made for my charries (Minus Pax and Luna because I had never gotten to theirs…but now I kinda want to to complete the set XD)
But minus them…yea!
I was like SOB…NOSTALGIA!!!!!
Legit!
Anyway I thought I’d share them here!
Also…while going thru my photos (series related photos are what take up my computer XD) I realized just how Locked Up I’d made myself when it came to my first book. The decision to move onto the second one I think really was the best choice, because now I realize how I’d pushed myself so into a box before…
Finding this old aesthetic and moving some pictures and aesthetics around made me realize my mindset for it had become so…limited.
Before it, it could be as grand and large as any of my other books in the series! But then somehow it had just become something to “Launch me.” Instead of something amazing to be “Launching FROM!” My mind may not make much sense…
But I give books specific colors! Which is awesome, and I love aesthetics and giving books vibes!
The first books vibe though was a bit…boring to me.
But now I realize it’s because I made it that way. Originally it wasn’t though. Looking back, it was so much fresher.
This is gonna sound so weird, but seeing my character and her “book” represented in a color other then the one I usually use for it, just made my mind like “oh wow…I can do so much more with this!”
You’ll probably understand a bit better when you see Ara’s board lol.
So here it is!
I had completely forgotten about these old boards…and this one…
Ara had once been more surrounded by warm browns and tans, representing her bookishness and love of literature, and at the time of making these boards the story had been MUCH different then. I think at that time, Ara was still going to be like some sort of magical storyteller or something…
But this has like…sparked something in me…that love for the original…and the new…
Combining them both, for my girl, Ara, and remembering who she originally was. Same with November (His board is next)

As you can tell It’s always been planned for N and Ara to be a thing XD
but he’s just become even more of a cinnamon roll as the story continued, and probably my favorite character. He and Pax are at least tied for favorite.

Soooo Lyn OBVIOUSLY Didn’t change too much XD, personality wise anyway, or aesthetic wise. We still got allllll them Circus aesthetics and fun (maybe a bit menacing) quotes.
Heh…Yea, apparently I already had a bit of a dark undertone in mind even back then, considering the one quote has a slight ominous feel…XD
Though her story and herself has indeed grown and changed, for the most part her main energy and personality has…remained the same. It’s kinda nice, actually.

I actually got the idea for him after discovering this authoress named Savanna J. Goins. (I still haven’t read her books *facepalm*)
She was a vet, and then retired to become I believe a full time writer. Skilled in animals, she has a lot of magical creatures in her fantasy books, and answers questions on her YouTube channel about how to write them and such (I had even emailed her some questions and she was quick to reply!)
Nyx was born from the desire to make an adorable animal companion that was fantastical, and my own creation.
He was going to be a mix of ALL sorts of animals…originally…
And…honestly??? As time went on, that fact….kinda got lost and he just became a kitsune type creature, inspired by fennec foxes.
I still like the ideas I’d had before, but at this point…I think that’s past, but I may use it for a different animal/character in the future (:
Anyway, that’s also why there’s an animal that is not a fennec fox in the midst of the board XD. I was thinking he might would look something like that….but…yea I scrapped that idea XD

So Grimm really hasn’t changed a lot. Most things have remained the same and…there’s not just a ton to say about him…

So…originally….I was going to have there be a bit of conflict between November and Grimm….
Not an actual love triangle or anything just….ya know…minor jealousy/misunderstandings XD
