SO I finally have chapter three of my Avengers’ family fanfic
and Y’all I just love this, it’s sweet and all of these Avengers as parents is just wonderful
Chapter 3
“Will I get a birthday party on my birthday?” Chrissa asked, watching Yelena wrap Aurora’s gift for the party.
“Of course, and you get to pick the theme, and the cake flavor which I will not be baking since if you haven’t noticed, I can’t cook,”
Chrissa giggled. “I have, but I like your mac and cheese,”
“Aw yes, I can boil water very well,”
“Except for when you forgot to turn the stove on,” Bucky stated, entering the room with a smirk.
“Wow I feel so ganged up on right now,” Yelena said with a light scowl.
“We still love you, don’t we?” Bucky turned to Chrissa, and she replied with a nod. “Just not your cooking,”
Bucky scooped Chrissa into his arms, and she rested her head on his shoulder. She let out a soft yawn.
“She seems too tired to go to a party,” Bucky mused.
“That’s because she spent all day practicing her cartwheel,” Yelena stuck the bow on the somewhat well-wrapped gift and smiled. “She almost has it,”
“I scraped my elbow though,” Chrissa added, shifting her position in Bucky’s arms. “But it’s better now, Yelena put a band-aid on it,”
Bucky gave a soft smile, giving Chrissa a light squeeze. “Well, I’m proud of you for putting in the work,”
“Thanks,” Chrissa said softly.
“Where’s Ava? We have to leave now,” Bucky asked, raising an eyebrow at Yelena.
“In the garage with Mason, Anna, Liam, and Daniel, They’re finishing up the gift for Aurora, we’re giving Liam and Daniel a ride there,”
“I helped paint it,” Chrissa exclaimed as Bucky set her down, grabbing his metal hand. “Here I’ll show you!”
“There’s the energy,” Bucky said with a laugh.

“Do you think she’ll like it?!” Daniel asked, still in awe of the finished product.
“Are you kidding? What kind of girl wouldn’t like this,” Mason stated, giving Daniel a high-five.
“I think it turned out nice,” Anna added softly.
“Hey guys,” Bucky and Chrissa came through the door that connected the house and the garage.
“Hey,” Mason moved out of the way to reveal the wooded doll castle. “What do you think?”
“I think you’re really good at woodworking, and I’m certain that Steve didn’t teach you,”
Mason grinned. “No, I’m kind of self-taught,”
“See I painted the walls!” Chrissa pointed to the castle walls.
“Yeah the girls were in charge of painting,” Liam said and then beamed. “I can’t wait to show Aurora and our parents,”
“You should be, they’ll all be very impressed,” Bucky then looked at his watch. “But it’s time that we get going,”
“Bucky?” Ava spoke up.
“Yeah?”
“Is it uh, alright if I ride with Mason and Anna?”
Bucky turned to look at Mason. “That’s more up to you,”
“I’m fine with it, I have tons of room, and don’t worry I’m a very safe driver,”
“Oh, I’m sure you are, but if you could try to be a little bit safer than your usual safe,”
Mason nodded.
Anna and Ava shared a smile, they were about the same age and were close friends, best friends really.
But Bucky knew that it wasn’t just hanging out with Anna that made Ava want to ride with them. It was the fact that she tried to avoid spending any time with him or Yelena, and he knew she didn’t trust them.

“I never expected a child’s party to be so loud,” Vision said, giving a light chuckle.
“Yes well that’s what happens when you have a bunch of kids under the age of eleven and a bouncy house,” Pietro joked.
“Daddy! Look!” Aurora squealed, pointing to the doll castle.
“I think your boys have more woodworking talent than you do,” Wanda teased as everyone gathered to watch Aurora open her gifts.
“Or I taught them,” Pietro protested.
“Well we all know that’s not it,” Jade mused. “I still remember the picture frame you made for one of my paintings,”
“Haha very funny, who invited you again?” Pietro turned to look at her.
“The birthday girl,” Jade crossed her arms.
“I knew I should’ve reviewed the list,” Pietro said, smirking at Jade.
“This doll looks just like me!” Aurora cried, holding up the doll with a smile.
“Just with plastic,” Hannah added, holding her phone up to record her opening the gifts.
“Me and Ezra picked out the dolls,” Maya stated, grabbing Wanda’s hand.
“And you guys did an excellent job,” Pietro said with a smile to his niece and nephew.
“Thank you,” Ezra said softly, so much quieter than his twin. The exact opposite of Wanda and Pietro.
Hannah smiled, so far the party had gone amazing, and Aurora was having the time fo her life.
