Yes, I’m going a different route for formatting, meaning I’m doing it myself bc I can’t afford professionals😆 It looks good on my computer, so here’s to hoping it’ll look good when printed👍
Yup. Sounds like the way to go! What software are you using? I’m planning to learn formatting in InDesign in preparation for formatting my father’s upcoming book.

While researching some stuff for school about Soviet era factories, I ran into The Picture. I’ve had this picture saved on my phone for years because the girl in it struck me in that “Story Detector” bit of my brain. I don’t know who she really was, or if I’ll even ever write her story as I hear it whenever I see her. I just know I want to.

That’s how I’ve written a few books, is by reading some paper or seeing a picture…..
I did that with the Choices we made. I saw a picture of a couple, and all at once the story just came to life.
