Oh! You have to post them when you do! I have found making boards is very helpful for character development, and they are a great thing to look at when you need to feel inspired.

Okay! Thanks for the encouragement to make them! Be forewarned, however…none of my characters are human! They are all animals! I hope that doesn’t damper your feeling of inspiration.

Nope. Good guess though. (I mean, they are, but that isn’t what I’m referring too. It’s something the adult’s aesthetics have, and the kid’s don’t.)

Wow. So, did you just look for ww2 photos on the web? What did you use to colorize them?

Yup. Just looked for ww2 photos on the web. I have a program on Canva that colorizes photos. I often have to make adjustments to the photo itself, download it, and re-upload it to get the right coloring. It’s quiet the process.

Thanks for telling me about the photos! I’m actually writing a WW2 story currently. Well, I haven’t started writing it yet. It’s a journal of an evacuee during the Blitz. A friend of mine actually asked if I wanted to write this because she was doing it for a school project. We thought it would be cool if we both wrote off the same prompts and then compared our writings!
I think I’ll make some boards for my two characters! The main character, who is also writing the diary, is a 13-year-old girl named Kitri Stanton. I also have a boy side character named Rob (Robin) Homes. This story is actually a historical fiction/fantasy because of something that happens in the story!
You’re given a lot of inspiration for making their boards!
I’d love to see boards of the other two guys/any other characters! Do you look specifically for quotes like that?

I’m glad I’m giving inspiration! Ooo, that sounds like such a cool story! I’d love to read it sometime! Mine takes place in Germany, because I find there are a lack of stories from Germany’s side of the war.
