I still can’t figure out something that I’m happy with for Day 13, so I may come back to that later this month. But here’s a story for Day 14!

Day 14: “How Do I Look?”

Ship: Fynnista (I don’t know how old they are in this one.)

Fynn used his fingers to fix his hair one more time, then stood back, admiring himself in the mirror. He raised an eyebrow and half-smiled at his reflection. Man, he looked great.

He walked out of the bedroom, a slight smile still on his face. He stopped when he saw Callista standing there, messing with her handbag and waiting for him.

A smile went a across her face. “Fynn, you look great. I’ve never see you dressed so fancy before.”

          He chuckled.

Callie twirled around in her violet colored dress. It glimmered in the light from floor lamps. “How do I look?”

Fynn sighed and blinked. His smile grew wider. “You… look gorgeous.”

Callie blushed and smiled. “I’m glad you think so,” she said softly.

Fynn held out his arm. “Shall we go then, my princess?”

“Has the carriage arrived yet?” She asked playfully, resting her hand on top of his arm.

He escorted her out the door and motioned with his free hand to the old car sitting in the driveway. “As always. Let’s just hope it works.”

Callie giggled. “It’s the most lovely carriage I’ve ever seen.”

“Well, I suppose you haven’t seen many carriages, have you?”

“Oh I have, but the best carriages have the most charming drivers, don’t they?”

Fynn grinned as he opened her door and she slid into the passenger seat. “Oh yes, of course.” He went to his side of the car and sat down. “I just hope I meet your expectations.”

Callie’s bright blue eyes met his brown. “You will, Fynn. You always have.”

He paused for a moment, looking into her eyes. She didn’t know how much her words truly meant to him. “And you, Callie,” he said, resting his hand on top of hers. “have always been beyond my expectations.”

I’m trying to do everyone I’ve missed XD

so here’s one for day 3

                Day 3: Feeling Their Pulse

                Edmund and Rebecca

“Rebecca!” Edmund’s cry seemed to do nothing. Rebecca fell to the ground looking more pale every second.

                No

                No, please no,

                Not her!

                Oh Please not her!

Edmund ran over to Rebecca, her blue eyes looking at his.

“Rebecca,” Edmund’s voice was gentle, but his heart was breaking.

Rebecca just gave a faint smile, her hand grabbing his. “It’s okay, your job was never to save me,”

“No,” Edmund shook his head, he refused to let her go. He refused to lose her. Edmund gripped Rebecca’s hand as tight as he could.

Just no, he wouldn’t let her go.

“It’s okay,” The words were gentle and sweet as they came out of Rebecca’s mouth. But Edmund could tell that she too was hurting. Death didn’t scare her, but the truth was things were perfect now. And she was leaving, and she was never coming back.

“When I had nothing, I still had you, don’t take that away from me,” Edmund let out a few sobs. “Please don’t take that away from me!”

“But you’re not alone anymore,” Rebecca closed her eyes, tears streaming down her face. “Edmund… I love you,”

                “Edmund I love you,”

those were her last words. Those were the words that hit Edmund like a pound of bricks.

“I love you too,” Edmund felt like his heart had just been ripped out. He had just lost everything. He had just lost the one person who meant everything to him.

He couldn’t speak, he could sob, all he could do was be silent while his heart shattered. Only a few small tears rolled down his face, but his heart was being torn apart.

                How could this happen?

How could that be the last time I talked to her?

How could that be the last time I would hear her voice?

Edmund looked at her hand, which was still in his. He lowered his hand putting it around her wrist.

A smile went across Edmund’s face,

                There was a pulse.

I just wrote this for day 20

                      First date

and it actually has two couples in it so…

but seriously I love this story so much

Wanda nudged James in the arm, trying her best to get him awake. Bucky was usually an early bird but today was a day that James was dreading. Truthfully Wanda was sad too, it just reminded her how fast things went.

“I know you’re not actually sleeping,” Wanda said with a smirk, she lightly kissed James on the cheek. “You’re acting like a toddler,”

“I don’t care what I’m acting like,” James said sitting up in bed. “I never wanted this day to come, and it’s all your fault,”

“My fault?” Wanda leaned up against James.

“Yeah your fault,” James gave Wanda a grin. “Let’s go to Barton’s farm, she said, only she forgot to mention that they had a teen boy, Lexi’s age,” James said in a high-pitched, mimicking tone.

Wanda’s smile turned into a laugh. “You agreed,”

“Yeah, and now our daughter has a date for tonight,” James clutched his fists, as Wanda wrapped her arms around his metal arm.

“Daniel is sweet, plus he’s Clint’s son,”

“Which is even worse! His dad is the fool who runs into a battle with a bow and arrow,”

Wanda went into a full-blown laugh, James was cute when he was mad.

“You just have to be okay with your daughters dating,” Wanda said, smiling at her husband.

                      “I’ll try,”

                      ~*~

“Would you stop moving?!” Sage said moving the makeup brush to Lexi’s eyes. “I’m tempted to pause time, just to make you stop moving,”

Lexi laughed and then blinked repeatedly just to annoy her sister.

Sage scowled but her lips slowly formed a smile.

                      “Are you excited?”

“For the date, yes, before the date, no,”

Sage laughed. “I’m sure Dad will be fine,”

“Really?” Lexi rolled her eyes. “Do you remember your first date?”

“Yeah,” Sage smirked. “But it ended up fine,” Sage showed her hand which had a beautiful diamond ring on it, she was happily engaged.

“Ow! You got mascara in my eye!”

Sage’s face broke into laughter.  “Sorry,”

                      ~*~

Wanda walked into the living room, crossing her arms.

“Steve, I had no idea you were coming,” Wanda gave a skeptical look.

                      “Bucky invited me,”

“Did he?” Wanda scowled at her husband.

“I didn’t realize Lexi had her first date tonight,”

“Steve you’re a horrible liar,” Wanda said with a smirk. “I suppose Sam will be here soon?”

“He wanted to, but he’s on a S.H.I.E.L.D. mission,” Steve gave a grin.

Lexi walked down the stairs, her outfit, her hair, and her nails, all styled to perfection. Thanks to her sister and mother, who acted more excited about this date than she did.

Bucky looked at his daughter as she spun around showing her outfit.

“How do I look?” Lexi asked with a bright smile.

A smile that reminded him of his six-year-old daughter who used to play doctor with her stuffed animals.

How could this be the same girl?

“Stunning,” Bucky said smiling at her.

“Thanks, Dad,” Lexi looked around the room. “Steve?”

                      “I’m here for dinner,”

“Right, and it just happens to be tonight, are you hiding the full Avengers in the closet?”

“Of course not,” Bucky said with a chuckle. “Just most of them,”

Lexi scowled as the front door opened.

Sage immediately ran over to the door, helping injured Sam over to the dining room chair.

“What happened?” Lexi asked already examining the wounds.

                      “Got in a fight,”

                      “Against the Hulk?” Sage smirked.

“You should see the other guy,”

Steve held in a laugh but then stood surprised when Patrick walked through the door, looking just as beat up as Sam.

                      “Patrick!” Lexi scolded,

“Sam, you beat up my brother?” Sage said sarcasticly.

“Were you in the fight?!” Bucky asked looking at his son.

“I’m sorry for not getting permission, I know it’s not soldierly like, but I thought I had to help.”

Patrick had his father super serum and his mother’s powers, but more than that, he had his parents stubbornness.

Wanda helped her son to a seat next to Sam, as Lexi bent down examining him.

“Sage can you get my medical kit?” Lexi asked, looking at her sister.

“You’re going to get bolod on your outfit,” Sage put her hands on her hips. “It took me two hours to pick out,”

                      “That doesn’t matter, I’m a doctor first,”

“Actually you’re a teen first,” Sam corrected.

“But you have a date in thirty minutes,” Sage protested.

“Have you forgotten that I’m your brother too?” Patrick asked with a clever smile.

“You’re the idiot who got in the fight,” Sage said elbowing her brother.

Lexi gave Sage a look that made her go grab her med kit.

“Did you at least win?” Lexi asked looking up at her brother.

                      “Sure did,”

Sage ran down the stairs handing Lexi the box.

“Thanks,” Lexi searched through the bin, and then grabbed some rubbing alcohol, and then looked up at her brother. “This might sting a little,”

“Ow!” Patrick looked at the deep cut, his face going pale. “What are you going to do?”

                      “Stitch it back up,”

“Do you know what to do?” Sam asked knowing he’d be next.

“Of course I do, I’ve been studying medical treatments sense I was five,” Lexi dried the wound with a rag. As Patrick let out anther moan of pain.

Wanda looked at her twin children, they remind her of her and her brother. A smile crossed her face as she help Lexi with the wounds.

It was funny when memories that used to torment Wanda now made her smile.

                      ~*~

Lexi walked over to the door, thankfully she had been the only one who had heard it.

                      “Hey,” Lexi’s smile went bigger.

“Hey,” Daniel looked at the blood stains on her shirt.

                      “Don’t worry it’s not my… blood,”

                      “Well that’s reassuring,” Daniel smiled,

“Sam and my brother got hurt on a mission,”

Lexi blushed, she was so embarrassed.

Daniel could see that she was nervous and leaned in whispering something in her ear. “I have Avenger parents too,”

Lexi smiled, “If you wait right here while I change, we might be able to get out of here, with out my Dad or brother interviewing you,”

Daniel laughed, as Lexi slipped up the stairs.

Day 25: “Quit flirting with me, I’m not going to fall for it.”

Ship: Everdala (it was hard to choose which ship to do for this one XD)

“Oh man, that was delicious,” Everton said, holding the restaurant door open for Amidala.

She walked through and chuckled “And filling. I don’t think I could eat another bite.”

“How about we race?” Ev suggested, a playful grin on his face.

                              Ami raised an eyebrow. “Why?”

“To work off all the calories we just ate.”

“If I raced I think all those calories would come back up again,” Ami said with a shake of her head.

Ev frowned. “Aww, come on. Please, Ami?” He folded his hands and looked at her pitifully.

She huffed and stopped walking, crossing her arms. “What would people think if they saw two adults running down the sidewalk?”

He looked around. “I don’t see anybody, do you?”

A smile tugged at Ami’s lips. “No… but that still doesn’t mean I’ll do it.” She began to walk down the side walk again.

“Please? Just for old time’s sake?” Ev asked, putting himself in front of her.

She rolled her eyes and a smile escaped. “Ok, fine.”

Ev grinned like a little boy and stood next to her. “Alright. First one to the lamppost down there wins.”

                              Ami nodded.

“On your mark… get set…” Ev gave her a quick glance. “Go!”

He shot down the sidewalk, quickly gaining a head start.

                              “Hey, slow down!” Ami said.

Ev glanced behind him. “I don’t think that’s the point of a race, is it?”

Ami laughed and sped up, but Ev still beat her to the lamppost. Ami bent over and put her hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath.

Ev chuckled and bowed. “Thank you, thank you. After over a decade, I am still the reigning champion.”

Ami stood up, laughing. “Didn’t I win one of our races once?”

Ev’s eyes widened. “You’re making stuff up. And if you did, I let you win.” He crossed his arms and smirked.

Ami nodded. “Uh huh. Sure. If you say so.”

“Yes, I do say so.” He grinned. “I can’t let you lose every time.”

She smiled and pushed him playfully. “Hey, watch what you’re saying.”

“Oh yeah. I gotta be careful,” he replied with a faux frown. “Can’t lose the best girlfriend I’ve ever had.”

Ami raised an eyebrow. “I’m the only girlfriend you’ve ever had.”

“Exactly,” Ev said with a wink. “But you’re still the best.”

“Quit flirting with me, Ev,” Ami said in a singsong voice, skipping a few steps ahead of him. “I’m not going to fall for it.”

Everton sidled up next to her. “And why’s that?” He asked, cocking an eyebrow.

She smiled knowingly. “Because I’ve already fallen for it once and look what happened.”

Ev slid his hand into hers and intertwined their fingers. He gave her hand a slight squeeze. “What? You don’t think we make a cute couple?”

Ami chuckled. “No. I think we make an adorable couple.” She sighed contentedly. “And I like it that way.”

Ev smiled. “I do too, Ami.” And I always want it that way.

Here are two scenes from my fanfic

they aren’t back to back in the book, but they go together

                                  I’m combining

Day 4 and Day 24 (Battle couple & Breakup)

Bucky sat behind the wheel of the silent car. Steve and him were waiting for Sam, and the silence was driving Bucky mad. Steve had been so different after Thanos, he was so quiet, caught in his work, and most of all he looked like he was caring a heavy burden.

                                  Why?

Thanos was years ago and Steve still looked like he was recovering from it. Bucky would never go as far as to call himself a therapist, but after being married to Wanda, he had seen his fair share of brokenness and emptiness that a war could leave someone with.

“Can I ask you a question?” Bucky asked turning to look Steve in the eyes.

                                  Steve hesitated, “I guess,”

“What happened between you and Peggy? When you went back to return the stones,”

Steve looked down, avoiding eye contact. He had managed to avoid this question for so long, but Bucky was his best friend, and surely he deserved an answer.

“Me and her danced, and talked, and… that was it, we didn’t really work out. I was different, the future had changed me.” Steve shrugged. “Maybe I had grown attached to the future,”

But Bucky continued looking at Steve. “And?”

                                  “And what?”

“What’s the rest of the story?”

“Look me and Peggy just didn’t work out,” Steve sighed. “Peggy just wasn’t…” Steve stopped himself, closing his eyes as a tear rolled down his cheek.

“Peggy just wasn’t Nat,” Bucky finished his sentence, and now he understood.

Steve gave a light nod, as more tears coursed down his face.

“I miss her, Buck, I-I really miss her,” Steve’s lips quivered.

Bucky watched as his best friend looked down, his face burning red with tears.

“She died… for a stone,” a sob managed to escape Steve’s throat. “A stupid stone!”

A few tears ran down Bucky’s face as well. He hadn’t known her that well, but it still seemed so unfair.

“She told me, when we were on that time machine platform, See you in a minute,” Steve looked at Bucky. “Oh, what I would give for that to be true, to see her again, hear her voice,”

Bucky almost let out a sob himself, Steve’s pain was so strong and so deep.

“I just want to tell her, I wish I would have told her… that I love her,” Steve shook his head in regret. “Because I really did love her,”

                                  “Steve…”

“She’s gone, Buck, she really is gone, I’ll never see her again or tell her I love her,” Steve went silent.

                                  His heart was broken

Because he had lost his true love

                                  And all for a stone

Wanda closed the car door, her heart preparing to say what she had to say. If there was one thing this world had taught her, it was that life wasn’t fair, and usually, it takes a lot from you.

“Why did we come here?” Steve looked at Wanda, and then at the plot of land. “And where is here?”

Wanda turned to look at Steve, a tear rolling down her cheek. “This is here,” Wanda handed Steve a map.

On the map was a heart with words, that Steve read out loud.

                                  “To grow old in-V,”

                                  “Vision?”

Wanda’s face gave Steve the answer.

“We were going to build a home here, and start our lives here… together,” Wanda held back more tears. “You know the rest,”

                                  Steve sighed, “Yeah… I do,”

“When I and Bucky got married, I thought about building a house here, but I couldn’t, I couldn’t bring myself to do anything here,”

“So… why did you bring me here?”

“To show you what grief is,”

                                  “Bucky told you?”

“Yeah,” Wanda walked over to Steve. “How long have you been grieving by yourself?”

Steve hesitated. “Since Thanos, I didn’t want to burden anyone,”

“I tried that too, and I almost destroyed myself and everything around me,” Wanda’s lips quivered. “I felt alone, absolutely alone,”

                                  “What stopped you?”

“It’s a who,” Wanda closed her eyes, in hurt. “I came here after I was denied Vison’s body for a proper funeral, and I was overwhelmed by grief, so much grief, grief that made me want to do something… and then Clint came, he didn’t say anything just gave me a hug. Something I really needed,”

“I should have been there for you,” Steve stated.

“No, Clint had his wife and his kids back, he was strong, and I was weak,” Wanda looked Steve in the eyes. “But when a weak person tries to act strong and help others they end up failing, and usually get hurt even more.”

                                  “Wanda… I’m-”

“Super serum has nothing to do with it, take it from me, I’ve had a few too many broken hearts,”

Wanda led Steve more into the property, to a few stones. With the words,

                                  Pietro Maximoff

                                  Tony Stark

                                  Vision

And the one that stopped Steve

                                  Natasha Romanoff

“I thought this was a good way to use the space,” Wanda stood next to Steve looking at the beautifully carved stone for Nat. “They might not all have gotten proper goodbyes or funerals, but they know, they know we miss them,”

Steve knelt down, his eyes filling with tears. “I just wish I could see her,”

“I know, trust me I know,” Wanda’s gaze went to the stone with Vision’s name on it. “I really know,”

Wanda hugged Steve, both had tears trickling down their face.

“It’s okay Steve, it gets better, I promise,”

“You mean the grief will leave eventually?”

“No, grief never really leaves, it just gets bearable,” Wanda sighed. “You just can’t let it stop you, or let it hold you back,”

“It’s just so hard, when I want her here, now.”

Wanda turned to look down at Nat’s stone. “I do too, I want them all here, but sometimes you just have except, that a person is gone, and find a way to live without them, even though every part of you doesn’t want to.”

Steve hesitated, “I guess I’ll have to take your word on that,”

                                  But why her?

                                  Why not me?

She was the best out of all of us,

Stev really would try to move on, but it felt impossible.

How did life go on without her? How did life go on without Nat?
