      One of my WIPs is about a duck who wants to see the world, or at least part of it. Each chapter is a single adventure. Chapter One, in which Linda raids Walmart, can be found here: https://kingdompen.org/forums/topic/contemporary-duck-wip-the-chronicles-of-linda-rose/

      Anyway, I’m stuck on ideas. Does anyone have any mini adventure ideas for a duck? I do have two, but they’re for later chapters, and I need some in between.

      The squirrels are collecting more nuts than usual this winter. I've already lost 3 relatives.

        Your first chapter is amazing, it’s really funny and entertaining.

        Ok, some ideas. Maybe Linda could go to Paris, or some place in the world. She could go to the zoo and try to free a peacock or a type of bird there. Those are a few off the top of my head, I’ll try to think of some more tomorrow.

          @theducktator That was so funny! Great job! I like the Shadow’s idea of her trying to break into a zoo and rescuing some birds, lol. Maybe an amusement park? A concert? A DMV?

            A horse stable? Maybe a war reenactment at a museum? A fair?

              That was entertaining. Here is an idea inspired by when I visited Penticton, BC this past summer. A brave duck was approaching people for food and savagely devoured any Doritos it was fed. Here is photographic evidence. This one got within a foot of me.

              So how about, In Which Linda Takes Over the Beach’s Supply of Doritos?

                I was actually planning to have Howard get captured and taken to the zoo in a later chapter, lol.

                @hybridlore

                The only definition of DMV I found was Department of Motor Vehicles, so hopefully that’s right. Linda wants a Ferrari.

                Ooh, a fair! She would get her beak stuck in a caramel apple. XD

                @linus-smallprint

                Lol I love that. I might do something like that with garlic bread. Linda would be obsessed with garlic bread.
