My dad is the same, he’ll eat the spotted bananas. I’m just like “go ahead and take it, I’m not gonna eat it” cause I don’t like the taste and texture once they’re overripe

I eat yellow bananas with brown spots, but several of my siblings prefer them greener, so I often write my name on them so they aren’t gone before they ripen.

I don’t eat bananas either, but when I do they have to be a little after the bright all yellow… like beginning to soften (and barely turn brown, not too brown at all).
