My brother would go for that banana without waiting.

My dad is the same, he’ll eat the spotted bananas. I’m just like “go ahead and take it, I’m not gonna eat it” cause I don’t like the taste and texture once they’re overripe

My brother only eats yellow ones. Not too brown, not too green.

I eat yellow bananas with brown spots, but several of my siblings prefer them greener, so I often write my name on them so they aren’t gone before they ripen.

The squirrels are collecting more nuts than usual this winter. I've already lost 3 relatives.

anyone eating the brown banana is crazy!! There is only one proper banana, and that is the banana between “almost there” and “ripe”

Wow. I never realized this was such a debate. I thought the answer was pretty simple.

I don’t eat bananas either, but when I do they have to be a little after the bright all yellow… like beginning to soften (and barely turn brown, not too brown at all).

Haha. I don’t really care for the things either, so whatever ripeness will inspire someone else to eat them is my favorite.
