I eat yellow bananas with brown spots, but several of my siblings prefer them greener, so I often write my name on them so they aren’t gone before they ripen.

I don’t eat bananas either, but when I do they have to be a little after the bright all yellow… like beginning to soften (and barely turn brown, not too brown at all).
If you pluck them, they explode. Goro.
Haha. I don’t really care for the things either, so whatever ripeness will inspire someone else to eat them is my favorite.
