October 17, 2024 at 1:17 pm #187785oh and the plot hole one is relatable……
For me, it’s how to add a new character without them being just pushed around by the plot because they weren’t in there to begin with.
Or how to take a joke in the original work that went a little too far and make it a bit tamer (but still decently funny) in my fanfic that I’m intending to be okay for 10-year-olds to read. That happens sometimes.

October 17, 2024 at 1:24 pm #187787HEY! NOT FAIR! I was just about to send that!
What, really? I just sent your Narnia meme to my sister who loves Narnia, and she sent that back to me so I decided to post it here.
Sometimes it is necessary to paint the sky black in order to see the stars.
October 17, 2024 at 3:11 pm #187793i know!
Oh, thank you! Yes, my real name is Ellette. I love it. It’s Anglo Saxon and doesn’t really exist anymore.
Yes really! I probably have every Narnia meme there ever was. lol. (except the ones with language. Spoiling a good meme with bad words. It’s horrid.)

October 17, 2024 at 3:35 pm #187796It’s horrid
I don’t know about horrid, but it is disappointing. Now, I’m not saying that swearing isn’t bad, but horrid is not the terminology I would use. Also, you have to come from their perspective as well. In their minds, swear words are just another word in their vocabulary. But as Christians, we know that those words have not so nice meanings behind them, so we don’t use them because Christ wouldn’t use them, or at least don’t try to (I have failed at not swearing more than once in my life).
