@ellette-giselle well I walk on the treadmill on Wednesdays when my family goes to the rec center for my brother’s tae kwon do classes, so there’s that.
I also ride a bike and consider myself decently good at it, and rarely go fishing.
But my favorite sport is going outside with a net and catching anole lizards. No one counts that as a sport though.

March 19, 2025 at 3:00 pm #200353XD I’m active. I’m at dance 3-4 times a week and I lift weights thrice a week.

March 19, 2025 at 3:02 pm #200354Yep, he’s in a wheelchair! He has a birth defect where his spinal cord developed weirdly and his legs are… partially paralyzed? I’m not sure what the term is.
And that is my explanation for having a couple wheelchair-bound characters in my stories, lol.

March 19, 2025 at 3:02 pm #200355Thats….. sad.🤣
No Airsoft?!? No horseback riding? No running, running, running until you go faster and farther then you ever thought before. (mostly because you and your friend are being chased by imaginary badguys, although once it was a rabid coyote.) no scaling rocks and hiking mountains? No sparing and grappling? 😂😂😂😂😂
I love writing, and I love the indoors, but there something about being physical outside that is super fun!

March 19, 2025 at 3:04 pm #200357I wish I could be more active, but my parents told me to stop jiu-jitsu for now because I need treatment first. *grumpy* Literally all I’m allowed to do is walk my dog.

March 19, 2025 at 3:06 pm #200358scaling rocks and hiking mountains?
Those two activities pretty much sum up my vacation each year. XD

March 19, 2025 at 3:06 pm #200359Ohhhh! I have a friend who’s the same way! He’s the son of one of the elders at our church! MAN! That guy is insane! He climbs trees, swims, rides zip-lines, sleds, races forwheelers. His arms and chest are soooooo strong! It’s insane the weight he can lift because he’s been literally doing pull-ups his whole life!

March 19, 2025 at 3:11 pm #200360Exactly! My brother still exercises all the time, and he’s stronger than me despite being younger. He enjoys wall climbing too. It’s really funny because he has broad shoulders and strong arms, but his feet are tiny.

March 19, 2025 at 3:44 pm #200371@ellette-giselle I live in Florida! There’s like 0 mountains here! And barely any fields that aren’t either dangerous-insect-infested or wet and full of either alligators or the deadliest bacteria and amoebas out there.
NGL Florida is micro-Australia when it comes to that area of life.
My brother has two airsoft guns, but we haven’t played an actual game with them yet.
also for all my obsession with snipers I myself can’t hit anything straight. Even in Minecraft my brother makes fun of my combat ability."When in doubt, eat cheese crackers."-me to my charries who don't even know about cheese crackers
March 19, 2025 at 3:49 pm #200373Soccer is fun. I always understood kickball more, but I have a friend who was a goalie for years. It’s very much a thing in Hispanic culture, so we see a lot of it.
I’m personally not super sporty. I live in college football country, but it’s possibly my least favorite sport. I like badminton though, and pingpong, and kinda volleyball. And camping, although I don’t get to do that much. I also love hiking, but since I work a desk job and don’t get out much, I am a slow hiker. Not up to two miles without a break.
I’m not terrible on a bicycle or jumprope. Lol

March 19, 2025 at 4:20 pm #200376I wish I was athletic? XD
I like the slight burn that comes from steady running, but side pain tends to come first. I like to bike and hike, but (as some already mentioned) I’m in school and working a desk job. Which means most of the steady exercise I get is daily five-ten minute power walks crossing campus between classes.
As for sports, I like kickball, volleyball (always have been a fast sprinter. Comes from being small and long limbed I guess), and ping-pong if that counts. Grew up playing softball in the backyard with my siblings. I have some vision issues though, so sports with stuff flying around aren’t my strong suit (half because I have family members who’ve been scared over me playing my whole life. Lol).
But ah! Swimming. I’m a weak swimmer, but the few times a year I get into water, it’s glorious.

Fork the GorkMarch 19, 2025 at 5:42 pm #200381ha ha ha…. a “bad” experience is a little under exaggerated…. I had the worst time of my life in soccer. But it is nice you had a good time ig…. also you can not really take a hint… I was clearly venting out my trauma that I have from soccer and the reason I hate it… because I never have done so to anyone else… this is the first time I have open up about… and I am not upset about being injured… I still do swim and ultimate frisbee. between that I have rolled my ankle and almost drowned! But I actually have a good time with those sports… but my awful time with soccer is too horrible… so the fact that you tell me to “toughen up.” kinda hurts… I am talking about my emotional scars…
