Yep, one of hers. It doesn’t have a lot to do with the book, but there is an otter who shows up with hisΒ

March 19, 2025 at 10:55 am #200308soccer IS the worst sport…. It kinda is really boring XD and like everyone who plays it is a jerk. And don’t forget how the rules make no sense, or how it is really painful…. or how if you miss to block a goal someone calls you an awful name… or the fact on how you are the reason why it is all your fault why the team lost, or the really early mornings or the waste of a weekend. . . and how everyone there hates you and the adults laugh at you when you mess up… or how people kick you when you fail to pass the ball…. or how you think you are good at it until the big game comes and you get hit in the face with a ball and your nose starts bleeding and no-one cares about you and you are left on the side lines for the rest of the game but if you didn’t get hit in the face your team would’ve won …. And getting hit in the private part… that too.
So yes, soccer is a trashy no good awful boring should have been forgotten long ago sport…. at least that is my opinion Β βοΈπ

*hides from the soccer people who apparently throw non-soccer people out windows*
But so will be getting thrown out of a window XD. I’ve tried playing it multiple times and I could see how it can be fun for some people. Though I’m also just not into a lot of sports lol.

March 19, 2025 at 11:39 am #200318@ellette-giselle oh yes, soccer.
Enjoyable game to watch, sometimes, but utter misery to play. Hot and sweaty, and no one would ever let me have the ball. three or so years of playing and I kicked the stinkin’ thing maybe five times?

March 19, 2025 at 12:19 pm #200326That’s a little harsh. Especially saying that everyone who plays it is a jerk. I happen to love soccer, and I played it for eight years! None of what you are mentioning about name calling and such ever happened on our team. Yeah, it hurts! Yes, I went to the ER a few times! Yes, I passed out on the field twice. But so what. Toughen up! It made me push harder and get stronger and run faster and think quicker. We made awesome memories together and had some great times, and some really cool moments too! We lost more games then we won, but we always were cheerful and encouraging of one another, and we strove to give God the glory, win or lose.
I really loved it and some of the girls on my team are the closest friends I have.
So, you may have had a bad experience, but I would caution against harsh and slightly unkind generalizations.

@the_lost-journal yeah I don’t like the sport much either (or any sport for that matter) but not everyone who plays it is like that."When in doubt, eat cheese crackers."-me to my charries who don't even know about cheese crackers
March 19, 2025 at 2:30 pm #200335It’s boring…but then, most sports are. Except disc golf.

March 19, 2025 at 2:40 pm #200337March 19, 2025 at 2:50 pm #200340@ellette-giselle I think the reason some of us are writers is because we didn’t wanna go out and do things. Sports included. LOL.

March 19, 2025 at 2:52 pm #200341I’ve never been great at physical sports; the doctors say I have a lot of low vitamins/minerals. I’m a weakling, lol. But I played soccer for a while and it wasn’t bad. I even got a header in the last game. And I love watching wheelchair basketball because my brother plays.
