It WAS funny… but I for some reason was recommend the most disturbing stuff…

That has to do with what they are trying to push at you from whatever you’ve searched or they think will fit. *eye roll* They usually are never correct in what you would like.
Mine normally comes up with history facts, music recommendations, and WW2 documentaries. *shrug* I tend to ignore whatever pops up.

I think it had something to do with the video itself. The genre, style, length of the video, etc.
but Ellette is right, they usually have nothing to do with what you actually want lol

That is not the case. I was signed out when I watched that video. My normal recommendations are:
Minecraft videos (but like, non-stupid stuff), Mystery videos or cold cases, Animals or seals, funny skits, and music. But all of that is normal. I would never watch… whatever that stuff is….
For me it usually does 🎭 But yeah… I think it also has to do with the video… because I tested it with my Youtube account now, (I am clicking on the one that is the most normal 😅) ig “Do NOT Play Can Your Pet” and when I clicked on it, the videos below it were a bunch of videos about Can your pet? or more videos by the same creator.
