Heh heh it’s been awhile since I’ve been on here … let’s see if I remember how to do this (lol).
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so I guess I should probably introduce (or reintroduce, for those of y’all know me already hehe) myself.
I’m Warren, and I’m gonna go with a list of random things because it’s easier than typing a paragraph:
- I am currently in high school, entering my junior year (which is terrifying to me because I didn’t realize time had gone so quickly lollll)
- I’m Christian!
- I write fantasy/sci-fi, but generally kinda-sorta realistic? (i.e. I set most of my stories on Earth and just have elements of fantasy)
- I also write fanfictions a lot, but generally with OC’s as protagonists
- I am a huge Star Wars and Marvel (mostly MCU but also comics) fan (like it’s an obsession haha)
- I’m also teeeeeeeeeeeechnically on SE, but I’ve been super inactive (sadly). I just get crazy busy during the schoolyear and never seem to have time (-_-‘ )
- I absolutely love the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. It’s currently my favorite series.
- Close seconds to Inheritance are Harry Potter and LoTR/Hobbit (though I haven’t finished reading LoTR … I only own the first book lol … I have read the Hobbit tho) ((I have seen all of the movies))
- I draw, kinda. Mostly for fun and figuring out what my characters look like.
- I’m a swimmer (another reason why I have almost zero free time during the schoolyear lol)
Aaaaaaaaaaand that’s all I can think of. Hopefully I’ll actually be able to be active on here and meet some of y’all!
Okay peace out now XD

ENFJ-T ... I think (haven't taken the quiz in awhile)July 15, 2020 at 8:22 pm #83489@warrenluther04 Hi, hello, good morning, etc. Welcome back to the Kingdom and all that; how are you doing? Having a good day? ‘Cause it just turned great; I’m Leon Fleming: introduction properly made, now, yes? XD
(Just gonna go through your bullet points) Right: I’m in high school as well, and I’m definitely a Christian all through.
Nice: I write primarily fantasy and poetry, but have dabbled in the mystery genre. I don’t plan on moving out anytime soon from those genres. Though I have a bit of a science fiction work planned for later. I have a lot of things planned for later, but I’d rather not think about procrastination.
Nice; I’ve heard of fanfic, but have never tried it. I think I’d rather read than write those.
Great! I’m a HUGE MCU fan, so that’s a bonus. Coming with that, I do like Star Wars, but I prefer light sabers to Rogue One. Also: The Atlanta Braves better win the World Series this year, or I’m beat. Not much of a baseball year, though, which stinks. Are you into MLB (Major League Baseball)?
Nice on the SE: I used to be on SE, but I left for reasons limited and reasonable. Totally glad KP reopened.
GREAT: I like the Inheritance series also; pretty great series if you take it apart from many other stories. By itself, that is. I liked certain elements of the series. Have you heard about that Eragon Exclusive Collector’s Edition? I, uh…I’ve got that, yeah. It’s pretty cool, no kidding.
Nice: ranging above Inheritance (for me) are the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Right below Tolkien there’s N.D. Wilson, C.S. Lewis, Matthew Roland, various fairy tale artists, Paolini, and many others, I’m sure. I’ve seen the Middle-earth movies, as well.
I also draw, what a coincidence. Not a lot, though. I just need to do it more. I can show you one of my drawings if you want, so you can see the kind of way that I draw. I had to touch it up digitally because I did it in pencil (duh), but it looks basically the same. I’m not all that savvy with drawing, though.
I really enjoy swimming, but I’m not professional at it or anything. And I don’t get that many opportunities, considering the limitations of available swimming pools or other such devices.
Good to meet ya.
July 15, 2020 at 8:31 pm #83493Is that your dog in your profile pic? ‘Cause if it is, then NICE dog! I’m kind’ve a dog guy. I don’t have any at the moment, though.

July 15, 2020 at 9:23 pm #83502@warrenluther04 Hi, it’s nice to meet you!
My name is Michelle, I live in California. I am 18 years old and I am homeschooled, I have been one my entire life:) I have been writing for four years and I’m editing a short story and getting a children’s book ready for publication. I enjoy reading, writing, cooking tasty treats, and crafting:) It’s nice to have you here! Are you homeschooled like me or do you go to school? also, are you working on any writing projects?
July 15, 2020 at 11:53 pm #83503@warrenluther04 Howdy! I’m a new bean, so you probably haven’t seen me around before xD
I’m also in high school, a Christian, and spec-fic writer! Mostly fantasy because I cannot do technology stuff, lol. But I like that kind of fantasy– urban fantasy/magic realism, whatchamacallit? Are you working on a project right now and if you are, what’s it about?
I haven’t read the Inheritance Cycle, but I have read the first Harry Potter book and The Hobbit!! I consider that a great accomplishment for me. The LotR books in this house mysteriously disappeared for unknown reasons, which is frustrating. I’ve only seen half of the first movie, but it was interesting 😛
I like to draw too! Also for fun, though I’m considering getting more serious about it in the future. Drawing characters is definitely fun! Do you draw traditional or digital, and do you paint too?
~ always be a happy camper ~
July 16, 2020 at 1:56 pm #83506@leon-fleming Hey!
Yeah, I feel you. Fantasy’s really fun to write. (Also procrastination is the bane of my existence lolllll)
They’re pretty fun to write (and read). I generally stray from using another author’s characters, though, at least as the main characters; it’s much more fun to create my own, even if I am sticking them in another author’s world.
Yessssss, the MCU’s great. And yeah, I prefer the original Star Wars movies to the sequels, though I did appreciate how Rogue One fit in the timeline (though I do like the sideshows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). Aaaaand I’m not suuuuuuuuuper into MLB, but my family is so I’ll watch it when it’s on (if I’m not writing, o’course hehe)
Yeah, I’m soooooo happy KP reopened. I liked SE when I was on there (and I should probably start being active on there again, come to think of it) but I missed KP.
I had not heard of the Collector’s Edition, so I promptly googled it and it looks soooooooo cool.
Oh my gosh how could I have forgotten Lewis? Narnia’s amazing as well … to be honest I have trouble finding favorite books because so many are so good lol. (So, honestly, Inheritance, LoTR, Narnia and HP are probably all in the same category haha)
Yeah, I don’t draw all that much, though I’ve been doing it more. And sure, you can show me! I like seeing other people’s art, seeing everyone’s different styles interests me.
Yeah, all the pools in my area are closed, which is annoying -_-
Yea, that’s my doggo. She’s great :3
Nice to meet’cha too!
@michelle Hi! Yayyy a fellow Californian! Nice!! I hope the publication process goes smoothly, that’s so awesome! 😀 I, too, enjoy reading, writing, tasty treats (though my cooking/baking skills are questionable haha), and crafting (especially birthday/Christmas gifts for family and friends 🙂 )! And I was homeschooled through elementary school, and then was in public school from 6th grade on … though it sorta feels like I’m homeschooling again with all this online school haha 😉 (I’ll answer the last question a little later because it was asked twice 🙂 )
@merieshenanigans Nice to meet you too! I hope you like it on KP 🙂
Ooh! I’m there with ya on the technology part … I really like tech and it fascinates me, but I can’t write it for the life of me, especially inventing new tech.
Oh I really recommend Inheritance! And Harry Potter and the Hobbit are great. The LoTR books (for me at least) ((and from what I’ve read ;D ) were kind of hard to read, because they’re pretty long and kinda drawn-out, but the first one is good nonetheless. And I also love the Tolkien movies (including Tolkien, anyone on here seen that?)
Yeah, I love drawing my characters! And I mostly draw traditional, but I’ve started to get into digital as well. I was actually taking photography at my school and it came with a photoshop account, so I started using that … but the class ended and the account got revoked so I have to wait until the class starts again heh. And I’ve actually started to paint some over this lockdown period; I started with watercolour and have been getting into acrylics some. And @michelle and @merieshenanigans I have like three stories in varying stages of completion, but the one I’m currently working on is a dystopia, which is a change from my normal writing style but I’ve ben having a lot of fun creating the world so it’s worth it.

ENFJ-T ... I think (haven't taken the quiz in awhile)July 16, 2020 at 4:31 pm #83511@warrenluther04 *puts hands over mouth in shock* Oh my gosh!! me, you and Leon are all from California:)Can you say which city of California you live in? I live in Oceanside (Storytime right now lol) me and my family moved to Oceanside on April 15th, So our house is still kinda new:) but I love it!
Yeah, my baking and cooking skills are not the greatest, but I love making treats:P By the way I will be making rice crispy treats today! What kind of treats do you love?
Crafting is a great way to use a different type of creativity, other than writing, am I right?:) Do you have a favorite birthday/Christmas gift you made for your family and friends?
P.S. Your dog is too cute!!!! (so many people are using their pets for their profile pics!! I love it XD)
Also… Do you know how to swim?? being summertime and all that jazz.
July 16, 2020 at 10:10 pm #83517@warrenluther04 Yea, it is; especially when vocabulary is in abundant supply. (S.E.R.I.O.U.S.L.Y. XD)
Yeah, that would seem much more realistic; I wouldn’t really know where to start if writing from another author’s character’s point of view.
Rogue One did fit, yes, but it was rather disinteresting for me. Not necessarily the story; that was pretty good. But they all died in the end, and there was only one light saber scene. XD Light sabers are one of the main reasons why I’ll still watch Star Wars.
Yea; my family and I are definitely into MLB. What team does your family watch?
Yeah, KaPeeFer definitely. Though my experience with SE was pretty good until the end.
IT IS PRETTY COOL; Eragon’s original name was…oh, wait, I probably shouldn’t tell you.
Yup; Narnia’s pretty good, too. True! Too many good ones, too many bad ones, and a whole lot in-between.
Alright, here’s that drawing:
Looks like I did it in pen, but it’s actually just a Pilot .07 mechanical pencil. Like I said, I had to define it so that it could actually be seen. XD
Yeah; nice dog. I’ve had a few dogs. My latest one, who recently died, I had for about twelve years or so. He was a bloodhound; really great dog. My favourite, in fact.
Right!
July 16, 2020 at 10:11 pm #83518@Michelle Hey, hey, hey!! We’s all Californians, yeah.
July 17, 2020 at 12:02 am #83520@michelle Yea! I won’t say exaaaaaaaaaaactly what city I live in (y’know, cybersafety and all that jazz ((though KP is generally real safe, just as a precaution tho))), but I live near/in the LA area. I’m glad you like it!
Hey, but it’s good that you stick with it! And yeah, it’s really fun 🙂 Ooooooh I haven’t personally made rice crispy treats before, but some of my friends have and they’re awesome. Hope they turn out well! I like pretty much anything with chocolate and/or copious amounts of sugar lollll.
It really is 😀 I do, actually; this year (a couple of weeks ago actually) I made a friend of mine a replica of the waterbending scroll from Avatar the Last Airbender for her birthday ’cause Avatar’s her favorite show ever and it was soooo much fun to make 🙂 How ’bout you?
And thank you! She’s such a dork sometimes lololol XD
Aaaaaaaaand yeahp. I was actually on the swim team at my school, before everything shut down.@leon-fleming Yesssssssssss sooooo true XD XD XD
Yep. And also I feel like it’s more fun to create my own characters; I get to connect to them more, but can still have fun in, say, the world of Harry Potter or something.
And I feel you on Rogue One. Lightsaber fights are pretty dope haha.
My dad prefers to watch the Cubs, because his side of the family has been Cubs fans for what seems like ever. If they’re not on, we generally watch the Dodgers.
Yep, same here. The guilds really interested me on SE, do you know why they got rid of them? (It happened during my school-induced-hiatus, so I missed it)
Ooh! That looks really cool! I like the poem too, nice job!
And I’m sorry to hear about your bloodhound 🙁Kapeefer 'Till We're Old and Grey!
ENFJ-T ... I think (haven't taken the quiz in awhile)July 17, 2020 at 6:59 pm #83560I hope I’m not too late to this welcome back party, but errr… WELCOME BACK TO THE FORUM!
I’m the part of the new KP staff, and I’m supposed to be the new forum moderator, but um… well, you can be the judge on whether I’m failing at the job or not… being late to your welcome back party and all.
*hangs head in shame*
Anyways, your taste in fiction is very similar to mine! I have also read the Hobbit and I’m a couple chapters away from finishing the LOTR trilogy. Both Harry Potter and the Inheritance Cycle are at the top of my “to read” list.
What makes the Inheritance Cycle your favorite?
Whoa, there’s a lot more artists on the forum than I thought! (Nice sketch btw @leon-fleming). This makes me want to go clean out the cobwebs in the old “Art” forum topic, so that we can start sharing more artwork with each other. Sketching is definitely up there with writing, reading, and eating chocolate chip cookies, as some of my favorite things to do.
What kind of fan fictions do you write?
July 17, 2020 at 7:30 pm #83562@warrenluther04 Warren! I remember you!
I will go down your list and comment randomly:
– I’m actually kinda surprised to see that you’re younger than me haha (though depends on the month)
-Are you still working on that story with Lucie and Sydeny and Charles and the superhero premise? (At least I think that was it? It’s been a while lol)
– Ooh what fandoms do you write fanfictions for? I remember I used to do that, though I never really finished any
-Ah I love Star Wars! Only watched a couple of Marvel though
-Oh yeah we were both in Erekdale together! Too bad the guilds shut down, though -_-|| I guess we were all too inactive
Lately, it's been on my brain
Would you mind letting me know
If hours don't turn into daysJuly 18, 2020 at 9:38 am #83566@warrenluther04 Yep no I cannot for the life of me write technology. I love sci-fi though! And yeah, I’ve really been meaning to read everything I’ve missed out on… Eventually… Someone recommended Inheritance to me a long time ago which is why it’s at the veeeerrryyy bottom of my very extensive TBR.
Also that’s neat! I’m in awe of all you digital artists– it’s hard enough trying to improve traditional, but my eyes can’t handle that much screentime -_- I would totally do it and/or graphic design if I’d let myself though, lol. It’s cool that you do photography too! And painting is great, though I have yet to completely throw myself into it as I am still recovering from my incredible paint-related failures in the past xD What do you like to paint? Or draw? Or do you just do a little bit of everything?
I love dystopian! I hope you go somewhere with that 😀
@leon-fleming That’s a great drawing! And @kathleenramm perhaps you shoulllddd it would definitely be very inspiring!
~ always be a happy camper ~
July 18, 2020 at 2:17 pm #83570@kathleenramm Lol don’t worry about being late, I’m late to everything as well XD.
Heyyyyyy! You’re ahead of me on LoTR haha … I need to figure out where the other two books are heh.
I really like the worldbuilding in Inheritance, Paolini does a really good job of writing the rules of his world and how the different races interact with each other. I also really like how he built his magic system. (Plus it has magic and dragons, which are some of my favorite parts of fantasy lollll)
Ooh yes, we should definitely bring the Art forum thread back, it was really fun to do character art exchanges and stuff 😀
And I (mostly) write Star Wars or Harry Potter fanfictions (though I almost never finish them because I’ll see something that gives me an idea so I’ll start a new one eheh). I’ve also written some MCU ones.
@devastate-lasting Hii!
– Haha yeah, ages are hard to figure out online.
– Yes, I am! Though I’ve been stuck in writer’s block with it recently (-_-” )
– Mostly Star Wars and Harry Potter, plus a few MCU fanfics. And yeah, I’ve only finished two … either I get an idea for a new fanfiction or I get a new idea for a story and I switch to work on that lol.
– Me too! (Which you already knew, since you read my first post, but oh well haha) I haven’t entirely caught up on the MCU, but I’m working my way through it.
– Yeah I remember that too! Too bad I wasn’t really active, I really liked the guilds.
@merieshenanigans Yep, I feel ya. Sci-fi’s soooo great!
Yeah, the screentime involved in digital art is kinda a pain. I actually bought blue-light blocking glasses because I was getting headaches from all of the time on my computer for online school when lockdown started, so I started using those when I would do the lineart (I can’t use them if I’m coloring anything because it turns everything yellowy though lol) Photography is soooooooo much fun, and the way my teacher taught the class it was really easy to pick up the different techniques, so that made it even better. And I’m in there with you recovering from my paint messes lolol. I’m still learning painting, so I usually only paint, like, reaaaaaallly simple landscapes with watercolours, or designs with acrylics. (I’m actually painting some rebel graffiti-esque art from Star Wars Rebels currently, which is pretty fun) As for drawing, I usually draw people (generally my characters) or random landscapes.
And yeah, the dystopia’s been so much fun to write 🙂 It’s definitely more worldbuilding than I’ve usually done before (since I usually write in modern-day Earth so it’s not like I’m creating a totally new world with it’s own class systems or anything like that), but it’s been a lot of fun 😀Kapeefer 'Till We're Old and Grey!
ENFJ-T ... I think (haven't taken the quiz in awhile)July 18, 2020 at 2:43 pm #83572@warrenluther04 I have always wanted to visit LA, I have head it is REALLY crowded XD
Yes!!! I love sugar too:) I haven’t made my treats yet but today I definitely will, I can send you a picture of them when they are done:) My mom doesn’t like the whole sugar thing lol so It was a battle trying to get the ingredients XD though too much sugar is bad in large amounts, but everything in moderation, am I right?:)
since you mentioned it lol have you watched Avatar the Last Airbender?
Also what is it like being on a swim team? gotta know:)
