@reaganramm Wow! Thanks so much! This is infinitely helpful! I was wondering about this because I read an article about someone who said never to talk about your novel before publishing it because it would make the book jaded whenever it came out, but now I think that article was probably wrong. XD π
Well, I knew I wanted to publish before I go to college in 2020, but I’ll try to make a firmer deadline. And I think I’ll start talking about my novel on my blog more. π π π *runs around*

And yeah, obviously, you don’t want to spoil your story before you publish it. You don’t want to give everything away. Just give little teasers, and of course, talk about your process of creating your novel, because that doesn’t give anything away, but increases interest.
One thing you might want to do is look at what other authors do. I know Veronica Roth talked a lot about her stories on her blog, but of course, she never gave anything away.
Glad this could free you up to talk about your story!
