Oo have I found more questions? Me answer too!! 😊🙃🤪

Horror – Never, EVER, EVER ok. Should be banned like Andrew said.

      Drama – I love drama. It’s great.

Historical Fiction – I don’t like historical fiction, tbh. It has to be done REALLY well. So maybe (emphasis on maybe) 50/50.

      Folklore – I love folklore!

      Humor – Absolutely!

Tall Tale – I’ve never even heard of this before… idk. 😅

Realistic Fiction – Good. I like realistic fiction too.

You didn’t have thriller on this list, but I like thriller too. Just not horror thriller. My brother and I will write short stories sometimes, and thriller is often the theme we pick because suspense is so much fun! lol 😅

        why?

Because it seems to me like a bug waste of my time. Why do I want to be scared, being scared stinks, and nightmares are not fun. I already don’t get enough sleep I don’t need something to help me not to sleep.

Sorry about that, I was ranting…

I go by many names, Andrew, Andy, Mandrew, but you may call me... BATMAN!!!

Thank you! I don’t like scraping sounds either, but believe it or not, I love the sound of scraping shells.

Horror- Most horror is pretty pointless, but when it’s good, it’s good. (Yes this is a hot take, and I can explain myself if asked 😂) I like stories that have elements of horror if it makes the story more raw and compelling.

            Drama- No opinion.

Historical Fiction- It depends on what the author puts into the story besides just the historical facts. It has to have some soul or has to be about a niche topic, or I just get bored. But also I don’t like when a story uses a particular historical setting and rarely describes it.

Folklore- Ooh, okay, so this one’s a weird genre for me. I love really weird folksy-inspired fantasy, with cryptids and stuff like that. It has to be interesting folklore, not Red Riding Hood for the millionth time.

Humor- My jam. This is my jam.

            Tall tale- No opinion.

Realistic fiction- It’s very vanilla but I’ve read good books before.

Yeah thats true, I do prefer it over drama, but it can be 50/50!

              Folklore – I love folklore!

Same! Love folklore! (it can be creepy though!)

              Humor – Absolutely!

              Eh, its okay.

Tall Tale – I’ve never even heard of this before… idk. 😅

I get what you mean about the good thing! A lot of it can be really bad/dumb/demonic! thats why I monitor it!

Historical Fiction- It depends on what the author puts into the story besides just the historical facts. It has to have some soul or has to be about a niche topic, or I just get bored. But also I don’t like when a story uses a particular historical setting and rarely describes it.

Makes sense! I agree with this!

Folklore- Ooh, okay, so this one’s a weird genre for me. I love really weird folksy-inspired fantasy, with cryptids and stuff like that. It has to be interesting folklore, not Red Riding Hood for the millionth time.

See about this, it’s like a love all folklore but if it’s the watered down little baby version…. it’s kinda bad… but if it’s the raw original one it’s usually really good!

Humor- My jam. This is my jam.

                  😅😅😐

Realistic fiction- It’s very vanilla but I’ve read good books before.

                  Yeah I guess.

Horror- I never read it. I don’t think that it’s morally wrong to like the genre though.

Drama- I’m not entirely sure what you mean by drama. I like Shakespeare. Does that count?

Historical Fiction- This is one of my favorite genres to read. I don’t write it though because I don’t want to do all that research.

Folklore- I love folklore, especially old myths and fairytales from different countries.

Humor- I agree with Andrew on this one.😂 Dave Barry Slept Here: A Sort of History of the United States is one of my favorites.

Tall Tale- I find them amusing, if rather ridiculous.

Realistic Fiction- There are some books in this genre that I love, like the Penderwicks and the Vanderbeekers, and I kind of enjoy other middle grade realistic fiction. I hate YA though, because it’s nearly always stupid and shallow. I love the idea here, and would like this genre if people wrote better books in it.

Yeah, I love movies and books like Coraline, it’s amazing and if someone dislikes horror I usually point them to that. It has such a valid reason to be a horror story.

                      😅😅😐

Yeah, Shakespeare is an example. His stories are the only drama I like!

Historical Fiction- This is one of my favorite genres to read. I don’t write it though because I don’t want to do all that research.

I understand that, I love historical fiction, like The Magic Treehouse

Tall Tale- I find them amusing, if rather ridiculous.

Horror – I like Edgar Allan Poe and Frankenstein Horror can be good, it just has to have some redeem ability to it and can’t be too scary. Like Frankenstein has a great message and theme, but others a majority of the time are pretty gory or scary for the sake of being scary and in no way helpful. That’s my view at least.

Drama – Eh, stage drama is fine.

Historical Fiction – Its good, some are great others are ok.

                                  Folklore – Great genre.

                                  Humor – It’s fine.

Tall Tale – They’re okay, some are fun, others aren’t as charming or fun to me as folk tales.

Realistic Fiction – good, a lot of wholesome stories from here like The Penderwicks.

"No! Monkeys should have pets, all monkeys should have pets!"
