Hi Kapeefers,
I’m Riah (as you can probably see). I just joined Story Embers and I’m excited to be here. I’m also on KP and YDubs, for those who are interested.
About me: I’m a geeky, introverted homeschooler who loves to read and write. Besides that I also enjoy photography, art, theology, and languages in my spare time. I also play the violin and I love music of any kind, Irish/Celtic in particular. My personality type is INFJ, which often bleeds into my characters (duh).
I tend to go on long, passionate rants about why the LOTR is the best trilogy ever written and I’m a master of Middle Earth history. My eye is sharply critical (hey, don’t take that the wrong way) and the best way to make them glow is to furnish a book with complex and soul-stirringly realistic characters.
In my humble opinion I am rather good at titling and naming characters, and it would be my utmost pleasure to help any of you who are encountering problems in that department.
That being said, änar kalúva tíelyänna. I shall see you around.

I’m Warren! I’ve technically been on KP for awhile now, but I was really inactive for awhile so this is basically a fresh start.
I’m not homeschooled (though I used to be!) or introverted, but I am geeky and love writing and reading. I also like photography, art, and languages fascinate me (..although whether or not I’m actually able to pick them up and become fluent is another story altogether). And I also like Celtic music!
LOTR is amazing … although I need to finish reading the books (seriously, I need to find the last two books). I’ve seen all of the Hobbit and LOTR movies, though, and love them.

Seems we share a lot of interests. I don’t listen to a lot of Celtic music, but I like Celtic pop xD May I ask which languages you’re into?
LotR is pretty awesome, although I can’t honestly say I’ve read the actual books (I’m going through The Hobbit), but I have watched the first half… of the first movie? And pretty much everyone else I know loves it, so it’s really just a matter of time 😉

Wrong guess, I’ve never watched a single one of the Marvel movies.
I actually hand make cards too–for grown-ups XD I love calligraphy.
I look as Irish as a dog looks like a cat, so I’m there with you. I always wanted red hair, but it would look awful on me, haha.
I’ve read all of Tolkien that I could get my hands on, so that means: The Hobbit, the LOTR, Silmarillion, Children of Hurin, Unfinished Tales, and I’m halfway through the Book of Lost Tales I and II.
Which character would I date? Sheesh, they’re all over 60 years old, haha.
I live across the Atlantic in a cute little country, I won’t tell which. Guess as long as you like 😛 I’m going on 15 in a few days, I have a little sister called Anastasia and a wiry fox terrier named Maiaria Mir (plain Maia for short).

Me too, I have always wanted red hair, and also blonde, but I am Latina so it look very wrong. I really want to dye my hair though, but mom wont let me XD

You’re good at naming characters?!?!?! Oh my yes! I need help!
I’ve been stuck with a character named Barrett. I very much dislike the name, (sorry to all the Barretts out there), but it sounds like a mix between carrot and Bare. But here’s the real problem, whenever I try to change his name it doesn’t feel right and doesn’t stick.
So if you have any name suggestions for poor Barrett, I would be eternally grateful. Even more so if the name starts with a ‘B’, so the transition to a new name is easier.
