@Emma-Flournoy thank you. Your validation is quite reassuring. 😂

July 14, 2017 at 9:34 pm #37275I second Emma. It’d be tough to get as popular as him though. Not impossible but very very tough.

July 14, 2017 at 9:38 pm #37276@Daeus I still don’t quite get it. I mean, I’m not as critical of his work as some others because honestly I can forgive a book a lot of it has at least one good character who really invests me, but I’m still quite at a loss as to how they were ever that huge.
That’s okay though. I don’t really want to be as popular as he was… maybe because it feels like such a wide audience would be a shallower one. I’d rather genuinely touch a few lives than barely brush a million.
And now it’s late and I’m getting emotional… 😛
July 14, 2017 at 9:52 pm #37278Okay, I spent the last fifteen minutes looking up famous ENFJ authors and I can’t find any except Goethe and apparently Dickens might be but he also might be an ENFP.
I guess it is up to me. 😮

July 14, 2017 at 9:57 pm #37279@Daeus YOU CAN DO IT. GO FOR IT. GO FORTH AND CONQUER.
July 14, 2017 at 9:58 pm #37280… actually you know what? I think you actually could. 😛
July 15, 2017 at 7:32 am #37290@Daeus OF COURSE YOU COULD. And I read Dickens was an ENFP…so you’ve mostly just got Goethe to compete with. Tough luck. 😛 Though I haven’t read any stories by him.
Btw, Prince Hal/Henry V in those movies is an ENFJ.
And did I mention he kept an organic raspberry farm?
All right, not really. But he is an ENFJ. Albeit a less power hungry one than Loki.

…actually, you know what? I think you actually could. 😛Okay, that’s really funny.
The sad thing is, I haven’t even read a Goethe book.

July 15, 2017 at 8:55 am #37297@Daeus Well read one! What’s worse is I don’t even know what any of his books are. :/
But I did read one time that he kept a rotten apple in his desk drawer for concentration. No, I seriously read that. It has dubious belief on my part. But HEY, never know! You might try it.- This reply was modified 7 years, 5 months ago by Emma Flournoy.
July 15, 2017 at 9:28 am #37304@Daeus *scowls* It wasn’t supposed to be funny. I encourage people on principle because I believe everyone can do anything they set their mind to, but then I realized you were already well on your way to having that level of skill and I had a flash of premonition. *stomps off muttering* Nobody values our premonitions, precious. Nassssssty peoples.
July 15, 2017 at 9:34 am #37305*shudders as she comes to comfort you* There, there, mentor of mine…it’ll be alright… @kate-flournoy
Also I don’t know if you know this, but when I type your name on my phone it either wants to change “flournoy” to variations like “flournky” or “flourish”. The last one is supposed to be inspiring. Be inspired, Kate.

I was trying to tag Kate in something the other day and @perfectfifths spotted the typo. I hate typing on here with my phone…
