So @Daeus @Kate-Flournoy my MBTI consultants, what shall I call myself then? An ENFJ? An ENFJ with ISFJ tendencies? Because that’s what it is at least.

Daeus, here’s some ice cream for helping me out here. That cognitive function stuff is pretty cool, but I need to learn more about it. 😛 *ice cream*

@Emma-Flournoy aahh— hmmm… ENFJ sounds right according to this discussion, but I really don’t know… 😛 ENFJ with ISFJ tendencies works. *nods*

@emma-flournoy Call yourself a judging both-avert. If you’re both extroverted and introverted, 😀

If I might pop in. . . Sorry, whoever started this thread. Some of us have a more overwhelming welcome than others. Some of us apparently, start threads merely to have them hijacked. But this is a pretty good way of getting to know some of our, ehem, most vocal posters.

                      1. It’s really easy to be better than Paolini. One simple rule to follow: don’t plagiarize. There. Easy done. (You get bonus points if you also don’t plagiarize from several very different sources at once and try to cram them all into one place, thereby creating a mishmash of stuff that doesn’t fit with itself. Also, the antagonists’ names deserve as much thought as the hero’s. I’m sure Galbatorix’s parents must have cared about their son more than to name him something that better suits a swollen spider-thing without the least amount of Brain and not even any Grey Fluff in its place.

                      2. @Daeus, if Tolkien is such a good philosopher about fiction (which I heartily agree he is), how is not so so good a writer of fiction?

                      3. There was going to be a third but I’ve forgotten. (This is what makes an INTP different from the ENFJs, probably.)

You will draw water joyfully from the springs of salvation. (Isaiah 12:3)

Welcome to the site @Devastate-Lasting! Looks like I’m late to the party, but I’m glad you found us and look forward to seeing you around the forum. 🙂

@Devastate-Lasting Welcome! I lOVE to play the piano too!! I CANNOT go by it without playing it unless I am instructed otherwise. 😀 I am @daeus ‘s little sister, so you don’t get confused. He’s MUCH more of a philosopher type person than I am. 😀

@Devastate-Lasting Oh, and as for what true art is? I agree with Tolstoy. A transmission of the artist’s feelings. WHat about you?

Art is something ephemeral, something that restores your soul, and leaves you longing for more.

Lately, it's been on my brain
Would you mind letting me know
If hours don't turn into days
