I’m glad you’ve been doing well and that you’ve grown closer to God <3
Life has been busy this year, so I’m definitely not on KP as much as I used to be, but it’s also been good, because it’s given me more time to focus on the Lord and spending time with family :3
As far as writing goes, I am currently mainly focused on Book #3 of my trilogy, now that Book #2 is almost ready for publishing probably in…mmm…looking at February right now (woo, this year has been just a little bitšµāš« but also sooo thankful for it), which is (book 3, that is) mostly in the plotting/early writing stages, along with a few smaller, more secret projects that will very much not be finished anytime soon.
And my 1600s fanfic, of course, but writing that is more sporadicš
The Protection Squad may still have to keep Leon and Riker away from me…we shall seešāāļø

Greetings! I don’t think we’ve ever met, but I’ve seen some of your old posts. I have never watched a marvel movie ever, but I started Lunar once and was really enjoying before I had to leave it behind at my grandparents. I should pick it up again. Researching politics sounds fun. I am also an older sister, and I don’t have mental health issues. (Unless ADHD counts?) It’s hard, but I like it. Anyway, I am The Ducktator, also know as Abigail, ruler of a vast ducktatorship with plans to conquer the world! I am 16, homeschooled, and a writer of fantasy, romance, and some harder to classify wips. Besides writing, I enjoy dancing, birding, and reading. Iām also obsessed with ducks and anything duck related!!! And I do have questions!

Of course. So far what Iāve written is that five high school kids wake up to find everyone in the town is missing, and their disappearance is linked to the woods the town is surrounded by. The plot is kind of inspired by a tv show with the aspect of a mysterious woods, and as they explore the woods they find clues as to the disappearance Ā of the town (still figuring out how exactly the town disappeared lol). So yeah, thatās basically it so far, Iām still planning a lot of the chapters though.
uhh slowly, itās kind of just in the phase of ideas and plotting and thinking it would be a better tv show than book series lol

I have mental health stuff, but I wouldnāt attribute all of it to oldest kid responsibilities. For me itās a factor among other factors, not the cause.

Yeah I think for me I had to take a complete step back in a way to show God Iām willing and because of that I think He was able to open my eyes to the in-person people around me (not that yall arenāt real or anything but just that I donāt actually get to see you guys in person)

I think it’s just my priorities really, I think I came on here just to kind of talk about myself (which Iām doing right now) but now I kind of just wanna know all of you a little better and just be a little moreā¦ Christian in a sense
I was already saved but now I just have this deep-rooted faith in God and I want to show that in my writing and also just how I interact with people if that makes sense

Okay so I will say this about my novel series cause yall asked questions
Itās going to be 4 or 5 book series
There are 8 main characters (kind of like the Lunar Chronicles) and each book continues to introduce 2 of them as theyāre like the main characters of those novels (again like the Lunar Chronicles)
NO, I DID NOT JUST KNOCK OFF THE LUNAR CHRONICLES I JUST HAPPEN TO LIKE THE SETUP OF THAT SERIES LOL
plot sort of thing lol
Keith found out that these five came from the best genetics and at only young ages bought them from their families and trained themHe broke them and then rebuilt them into the best generals out there and together they led attacks to save the war-stricken world
And when they had, Keith took control
All of them survived and lived contentedly under Keithās rule, but Tristan, who tried to warn everyone he knew of the trouble coming and that Keith was truly corrupt
But Keith put a stop to that quickly (no Tristanās not dead heās just brainwashed and has forgotten everything from his past)
Keith made everyone believe that earth was now uninhabitable (and when we reach the end of the series we find out earth was just fine and thereās even a rainbow in the sky when the heroes land on it) and had been working on hugeeeeeee kind of like metal planet/spaceship that has as much land as earth does but itās like a giant metal ring in the galaxy with a bunch of small metal planets floating inside it and cities and everything (I know great worldbuilding lol)
And anyways in the first book we find Alexis (one of Keithās soldiers who ran away) and she was running an illegal bible study that just got found and then sheās given a delayed letter from her brother (Tristan) who warns her about Keith (obviously she already knows Keith is corrupt) and gives her an important file
The son of the military general, Lucas, is sent to track her and capture her and ends up falling in love with her
Lucas (literally one of my favorite characters in the whole series) struggles with the misbelieve that respect is the same as love (and after having a dark childhood with his terrible father, heās torn to admit that the love that Alex shows him is so much better than anything he also got from his Dad) and just for extra points for amazingness his also has a 6-year-old step sister that he adores
And Alexis struggles with the misbelief that in a twisted way, she still has to prove herself to Keith and she believes sheāll do that by taking him down, and she forgets her trust in God
And yeah thatās all Iām gonna write for right now but I might share a scene soon

@smiley actually, no, not star wars (surprisingly). But it is a sci-fi. It was based off this comic series (that I honestly don’t suggest looking up for reasons, part of my rewrite was to make a few of the jokes more appropriate and less Guardians of the Galaxy-dirty-humor-type) that I stuck an OC in for fun…..and to ship with my favorite character cause he honestly deserves it after the torture they put him through lol
