Shifting shadows, like the movements of some native dance, were cast about the high-ceilinged room, glistening off of the rich furnishings. No other light lit the room in which she sat, as dangerous and as dark as a cloudy night spent in the lands of the meat-eating beast, the Nartac. Indeed, similar to the gruesome creature was she, for she wore a long black dress, but her face was pearl white, and beautiful to behold. Her hair also was dark, held up in a bun and curls, showing off her fine features, without one wisp of hair out of place. Her cruel dark eyes watched the flames of the fireplace, a book lying in her lap closed.
The door cracked open, sending a sliver of bright light from the hallway into the room. “A letter, ma’am,” came the timid voice.
The white-faced beauty turned her head at the announcement. “Give it to me.”
The tiny maid crept into the room, handing her the letter, before retreating back to the bright halls.
The woman checked the name of who had sent the letter, and a twisted smile crossed her face. She broke the seal, and read the letter with sadistic glee. She laughed to herself. It would have been a beautiful laugh, if she had not been laughing at the destruction of yet another soul.
Still laughing quietly, she cast the letter into the fire and watched as it was overcome by flames.
Yet another soul had been let to its end by her beautiful white face. She was not only Nartac, but seducing Siren as well. Heartless. Cruel. Reveling to see those countless souls be burned as the letter, the proof of her predatory nature, now was.
STOP!!!!!!! Have you eaten Breakfast???

Welp, apparently I wasn’t getting notifs from this topic. And did I post the thingy I intended to that would extend this thing to this Saturday (January 4)? Nope.
