@notawriter I don’t save all my old art, but I just keep several folders of the ones that were my best at the time, or that have some special memory attached to them.
Do you keep a diary? I have kept diaries since I was at least eight, and I am really glad. I know of friends who kept diaries, and then threw them away and now they really regret it.

@ariel-ashira Yeah I’m kind of dreading having to purge my old junk-Oops I mean treasures! But with an average of 1 or 2 journal pages a day.. and an average of 2 or 3 sketchbook pages… Its really gonna add up!
And Yes I do! Although its really been a more recent thing. I think I started sometime.. Late 2016? Not positive though. It’s really a mix between bullet journaling/Art journaling/ and diary entries. I kinda just do what ever I feel like doing in it. What about you?and I was so confused
@notawriter I write a lot in my diaries. This year I had a pretty thick diary that I figured would last half the year…it lasted three months. Still, my answer is to buy more diaries, not stop writing. 🙂 I go through my drawings and get rid of a lot, but I always keep my diaries.
And my I don’t do drawing in my diaries, just writing. I don’t like sketchbooks, so I use regular copy paper for drawing.

What don’t you like about sketchbooks? The price? (’cause I don’t like that either!) But its really nice having something to keep all your drawings together in. I guess a folder would accomplish that though.and I was so confused
@notawriter I just like individual sheets to work with. Then if it doesn’t turn out or I want to give it away or something I don’t have tear it out. I like being very organized, and sketchbooks seem messy to me a lot of times. 🙂

@ariel-ashira Hmm I can see that. For me since I like to draw outside the house its super handy to have the portable..ness? Oh Portability! Of a sketchbook. I’m clearly bias though since sketchbooks are what i’m used to. I do like to doodle on random printer paper sometimes though. It feels like less pressure since you can just throw it away (*squints* Well okay Ill admit I do throw SOME of my art away.. ) and never see it’s ugly face again. Whereas if you draw something horrid in your sketchbook you either have to tear it out and waste a page.. Or *shudders* leave it there to ruin the ENTIRE SKETCHBOOP!

@notawriter 🙂 Yeah, my sister likes to carry her sketchbook everywhere. She doesn’t care about mess-ups though and just leaves them.

@ariel-ashira While I do mind the mess ups very much so.. *glares at millions of mistakes* If they’re in my sketchbook I usually just leave them.
Whoops I kind of hijacked your thread. Sorry! I have a tendency to drag out conversations to what might be an uncomfortable length.. 🙂 (Online that is.. Irl i’m an awkward introvert who hasn’t quite figured out how to ‘people’ yet.)
