      *Springs out of nowhere”

      Ahh, that’s a perfect word for this life. It is a relationship! I don’t just worship God, I want to know Him, to be close to Him and love the Lord my God with all my heart, soul, and mind. It may not always be easy, but He gave His life for a relationship with us, so that’s the least I can do for Him.

          Oooh I love this discussion! I’ll elaborate on my denomination but first I’m gonna talk about priests XD

          @ellette-giselle

          It’s often believed that Catholics don’t allow priests to marry.

          That’s not always true. We just think it wise for them not to marry, so we like to reserve priesthood to those who are already commited to celibacy.

          There are situations where they can marry. There are entire orders for married priests. If a married pastor or Anglican clergy were to convert to Catholicism, they could study to become a priest and they could apply for an exception. If you look it up, there are about 120 married Catholic priests in the U.S. (Not much, but still.)

          There’s also a lot of confusion about nuns and sisters, and a lot of people don’t even know about consecrated virginity (even though it’s one of the oldest vocations in the Church).

            was asking me about that fact that our Elders are married because he said that their priests, bishops, etc, were not allowed to marry.

                  I can testify, people with German blood are usually very eager to argue and debate.

                      The Irish side of my family rarely gets together, but my cousins and I…oh man, we will completely rage on each other and then go about life like we’ve never argued since birth XD

                        My dad side the family is all messed up and scary, (drug dealers and gang leaders and such)

                        Relatable. My dad’s side is Chicago born and bred. I mean, does anyone else have a great aunt who was a bounty hunter? I don’t think so.

                              For reference. My mom side is German: Shout a lot, love the grossest foods, speak a funny language, insult people but in a funny way, etc.

                              All of my dad’s side are American, but from Pennsylvania. So: Disagree on religion and fight over politics, talk about how taxes are going and inflation. houses are usually carpeted and are sad beige colors. etc.

                                I hate the sad beige color trend.
