My charries who I talk to know they’re the special ones, so they know that I could never bear to banish them or do anything worse than give them a tragic experience, which I later have them conquer in their arc because I just can’t bear to leave them broken.
They know too much.
I used to have conversation with by stuffies too! I used to put all of them in my bed, and then arrange them around my pillow while carrying on a conversation. now I only occasionally talk to my ancient bunny, Friend.

Well, writers are insane anyway XD.
Whenever I’m in a tough situation, I ask myself what my characters would do. I’ve also had entire conversations with stuffies, and a few of my characters.
Lol, stuffies are so great to talk to. I used to teach my stuffed animals math and ABC’s. Now I occasional practice things for them like monologues or speeches.

I haven’t had to banish a character to being forgotten since I was like 13 and I might have lost the courage to do it now.
Crosshair, Hunter, Tech and the rest might not be the stars of any of my current works but they know they’re safe. They also know their limits though–five years keeping them has done its work.
Sniper though? He knows he’s the favorite and has taken full advantage of it. Someday that might get him in hot water in the event that he’s suddenly not the favorite, but hopefully for him that day is far off…..lol

@theshadow better “subjects” than “children” I suppose, especially considering how I talk about some of them. (not sure whether to glare or smirk at the characters in question here)

Silvanis and Fairy
Fairy smiled. She loved hearing everyone sing. She turned to Silvanis who was sitting beside her. “Isn’t it wonderful? I love hearing all the different songs!”
“Wonderful, no. Interesting, yes,” He replied.
Fairy elbowed him. “It is wonderful! Everyone here has nice voices I think.”
“I’ve heard better.”
Fairy sighed. “Can’t you appreciate it just a little bit?”
Silvanis didn’t reply.
Fairy gave up and watched the dancing flames of the fire. She rested her head on Silvanis’s shoulder. He gently pushed her away. She looked up at him, before resting her head on his shoulder again. Silvanis gave an exasperated sigh, and left her alone.

There’s actually a reason Silvanis acts this way. Maybe Sniper will figure it out sometime. It’d be funny to see what he would say XD.

hey, maybe they’ll be the last two around the fire? Like everyone else decides they’re knackered and go off to their cabins, and then Silvanus and Sniper are the only two left and are kinda forced to talk to each other.
lol that conversation would get crazy. Especially since the first thing they did when they met was threaten to kill each other.
