@Dragon-Snapper wellll… *sidelong glance* Do you like beta-reading?
June 22, 2017 at 2:06 pm #35680@kate-flournoy I’ve actually never beta-read before. The only beta-thing I’ve done before was the KP theme mastery. π
… *sidelong glance* Do you have something I can beta-read??β β β ENFP β β β
June 22, 2017 at 2:09 pm #35681@Dragon-Snapper *even sidelong-er glance* I might in a bit… I shall be starting a topic when I do… The same book Hope made the collages for. π
June 22, 2017 at 2:10 pm #35682@kate-flournoy *sidelong-iest glance* Well…I’ll keep an eye out for it.

June 22, 2017 at 3:59 pm #35683@Dragon-snapper What Kate said… though her book will probably be ready for beta-reading before mine. XD
INTJ - Inhumane. No-feelings. Terrible. Judgment and doom on everyone.
June 22, 2017 at 4:07 pm #35684Another collage, this one for one of my novellas, Rose of the Oath.

June 22, 2017 at 4:31 pm #35685Oh, @Hope I just finished reading that Tuesday morning and I loved it. ;D
And that is kinda creepy how that girl in the collage actually does look exactly like how I pictured Elissa.*is probably geeking out about something*
June 22, 2017 at 6:06 pm #35694@Winter-Rose I love this thread idea! And that typography (is that what it’s called? XD) is really cool. I’ve never thought of doing something like that before but now I’m interested. π
Here’s a painting I did about a year ago showing the house of one of my WIP’s major characters, Evaleen. It’s called Stargazer Hill and that’s why there are star-shaped gems embedded in the door. π
And what do you know? A sketch of Evaleen herself! π
(And no, I dunno what the gray swirlies around her are either.) XDAnd last but certainly not least…
This is detailed sketh of the inside of a silver pocket watch that allows you to travel through time. It’s called the Clock of Tomorrow’s Time because you can only travel to whatever date is tomorrow in a different year. If that makes any sense. XDHere’s to hoping I got all those pics inserted right….

June 22, 2017 at 6:08 pm #35695Zikers, I missed Evaleen. One moment…

June 22, 2017 at 9:50 pm #35703@kate-flournoy What’s the title of your WIP? π
@graciegirl That picture of Evaleen is lovely! I’m currently writing a time travel book too (which also includes a pocket watch, only it doesn’t have any time-traveling capabilities). πJune 22, 2017 at 9:51 pm #35704@GracieGirl those are adorable! I love the watch— how long did it take you to do all that detail? π
@Mariposa Uncharted. π I have a sort of blurb thing for it if you want… though I’m really bad at blurbs, just warning you. πJune 22, 2017 at 9:53 pm #35705@kate-flournoy I’d love to read the back blurb!
June 22, 2017 at 9:58 pm #35706Well, here it is… I wrote it a while back so it’s not entirely current anymore, but it’s pretty close. π
Exile is a terrible thing.
But Harold chose it.
There are many things about his destiny he doesnβt understand. Why he, a prince, should have been accursed with a strange gift that left him a monster in the eyes of the world and destroyed his world as he knew it. Why he, a child, was destined to nearly kill his father and brother by the time he was nine years old.
So he ran.
Exile was simpler.
But in his nineteenth year, his simple world turned upside down. In a bewildering succession of events his curse is discovered and he is forced back home, only to find his father dead and his brother struggling for the throne against a band of mysterious spies known simply as βThe Owlβ.
The spies declare rebellion.
But Haroldβs path is by no means clear. His responsibility as the bearer of unusual power is heavy, and as the rebellion spirals into confusion he wonders where that responsibility lies—with a family estranged by long absence and a corrupted past, or with the rebels, whose cause, if not method, is pure?
In a situation where the fate of the world hinges on the choice of one man, Harold comes to realize he must choose a side. The only question is…
which one?June 22, 2017 at 10:02 pm #35707@kate-flournoy Uncharted sounds intriguing. It kind of makes me think of Frozen in a way.
