Alyona brings all the snacks… An impossible amount of snack.

Nadían is a typical kid, but she’s more likely to ask an inumerable amount of random questions than ask how long the trip would be.

Reúven would want to navigate and make Viktor drive.

      Viktor would be terrified.

Mr. Mynclais would drive instead, giving Viktor a book to read aloud. Probably one of ballads or ancient lore.

Mrs. Mynclais would start in the front passenger seat, but eventually move back to sit with Nadían and Alyona.

Reúven would somehow still get to navigate.

They’d go where the wind is strong, and hope is stronger, and the land rolls like a sea in turmoil. Also where the best donuts are. Can’t forget donuts.

You have listened to fears, child. Come, let me breathe on you... Are you brave again? -Aslan

        To the fear question:

Zlati is flight (his more natural response) and then fight (the response he’s learned to survive his brother)

Vulka…well, you kind of have to feel fear to have a response. He doesn’t like that emotion, so he laughs till it changes to something else. Then it’s fight, because it’s always fight, even when there is nothing, or no reason to fight.

Katya is a simple fight then flight, but she might alternate between the two to make the altercation longer.

Sashok generally overpowers threats by his mere presence. And if he can’t, he’ll sit back and watch his twin sister have her fun, throwing in a few stabs just to make sure she’s never really in danger. (But if he were ever to be really afraid, I believe his first instinct would be Flight.)

Daithí’s fear response is primarily flight. He’s a spy rapidly turning assassin. You can’t kill what’s not there.

Wilkins will freeze, start speaking entirely in rhymes and half finished poetry, then bite.

        To the zombie question:

They would die. They would all die. Or Sashok and Vulka would save the day, much to Katya and Daithí’s chagrin and Zlati’s relief, leaving Wilkins to immemorialize victims and heros in an epic ballad after having completed some vital but overlooked part of the plan.

        To the road trip question:

With this set? Chaos. Vulka would want to drive. Zlati wouldn’t let him. Katya would want to sit right behind Vulka so she could watch him without his knowing. She’d also have a supply of snacks that she brought to share but will still only give away if asked. I’d have to force Dathí into the vehicle despite his long snarling arguments against being that close to the others (or, really, to anyone). Wilkins would read a book and be generally immune to distractions. Sashok would bring his own snacks and probably nap the whole way, only waking up to take a turn at the wheel, or tell the others when they made a wrong turn. He’s always right.

They are all in a 50s ish red Cadillac with fins, so they’re pretty crammed. Ryla brings lots of cookies, and spends most of the trip looking out the window. Her grandfather drives. Celarent is in love with the car and keeps begging to drive it, but Ryla’s grandfather won’t let him. Iolyn is reading a thick book in the back. Letty is climbing on everyone and keeps asking when they’ll get there. Jorin, Ardon, and Vyette are doing a very competitive scavenger hunt, which Celarent is technically involved in too, but all he wants to do is drive. Vyette also has a map, but Ryla’s grandfather is certain he knows where he’s going. (He doesn’t.) The boys keep seeing slugbugs and punching each other.

?For our Blessed Lady's sake, bring us in good ale!?
