How do you say Ahava? Uh-hah-vah? I like it (well, I guess I shouldn’t say that when I don’t know how it’s actually pronounced, but it looks like it would sound pretty 😅). If you like it and can’t think of any particular reasons not to keep it, I’d say go with it.
As for Thomas… hmm… is there a certain style/ethnicity of names you’re going for? Do you want them to be real names or fantasy names?
For Carrot Cake (that’s a funny nickname, is there a story behind it or is it just because of how she looks?) it’s probably best to have a real name for her, even if she’s going to be called by her nickname most of the time. Again, same questions I had for Thomas, is there a specific kind of name you’re looking for? Maybe her real name is something that sounds a bit like ‘carrot’ (like if it started with ‘car’ or ‘caro’ or something like that) so someone called her Carrot/Carrot Cake that once and it caught on? Idk.

Kind of a mix! Sort of where the characters names seem more magical and made up, but are real names! Like here are some I like: Ruth, Rosemary, Emmanuel, Shalom. And then other names where they are in a different language or something like: Rapha, Nissi, Jirah.

Both! She loves Carrot Cake, and she looks like it. And if you would like to hear the story of why her friends call her Carrot Cake, I would feel more than welcomed to!

@theshadow Emmerich is a cool name.
I like it, although I’m biased cause I have an Emmerich in one of my own story ideas. He’s the main advisor to the mercenary-turned-king main character. (And no, this has nothing to do with TF2, it’s actually based off like 5 different games.) It’s his last name though, not his first one.
