Aaron

Aaron’s eyes narrowed, weighing the expressions of the two older men.

Could he trust them?

The young woman, Lily, seemed genuine, her energy boundless, reminding him of his GodIma Lyn.

But they could just as well have been lying.

“Nice to meet you!” The young woman spoke, “but who are you…? And we saw two of you…where’s the other little boy?”

Aaron felt shuffling behind him as Bren poked his head out. Aaron looked at him, eyes widened. He gripped his brother’s shoulder tight, forcing him to stay in place.

“I don’t see where that’s any of your concern…” Aaron said quietly. “My brother and I will be going now.”

Bren looked up, brows furrowed. He opened his mouth to say something but Aaron shook his head, pulling him as he turned turned, though making sure to keep an eye on the strangers.

“But Ron!” Bren protested.

“Not now.”

“But-” Aaron pulled him closer to the door. “What if they know where Aria is? They can take us to her!”

Aaron paused. He looked down at his brother. At his bright blue eyes, shining with innocence. Trust for others. That beautiful childlike naivety that Aaron so desperately wished he had.

That he’d make sure was never stolen from his little brother.

He sucked in a breath. Released it.

Turning back around, he met the eyes of the young woman, her face full of concern.

He straightened, refusing to show any fear. He was a prince. Heir to a kingdom.

Protector of his siblings and others.

He’d be brave. Strong.

“My name is Aaron Mael Fabel. And this is my brother-”

“I’m Bren!” The redhead smiled, his single dimple showing. Aaron couldn’t help but give a smile smile at his brother’s enthusiasm.

“By any chance…have you seen our sister?” Aaron asked.

“By any chance…have you seen our sister?”

Albert shifted from foot to foot.

He didn’t mind meeting new people…but new people…they often didn’t…understand him.

Not that Albert really understood himself very well.

Elias slowly shook his head, giving the two brothers a small, soft smile. “Afraid not…you two are the first people we’ve run into…we haven’t seen anyone else. But I’m sure she’s in here somewhere…”

Lily studied Bren, blinking a few times. “Hey, you look familiar! Ooh, I know!!! You look like November, a teenage boy I met in another castle similar to this one when I was little!”

Aaron

Bren’s eyes nearly popped out of his head. He left from behind Aaron before his brother could grab him. “You knew our father?! Really? As a boy? What was he like?!” Bren ran up to the young woman, his excitement palpable.

“Bren!” Aaron called, but it lacked real emotion, his heart thudding into his stomach.

Aaron stared at the young woman, who was laughing sweetly at Bren’s enthusiasm.

He knew it was only a matter of time until he met someone who had known his parents when they were younger…

His parents had ventured throughout multiple lands, changing lives. Destinies. Futures…

He knew the stories.

Some by heart.

But that didn’t make the mention of his father’s name any less painful.

He slowly approached, until Bren looked his eyes, eyes still wide as his smile.

“She said she met him in a castle just like this! When she was littler!” Bren said.

Aaron gave a small smile, though it didn’t meet his eyes. He looked up at Lily, heart aching.

Already knowing the answer.

“Have…have you seen him recently?”

Personality: Sweet, kind, highly intelligent, devoted, strong in her values/beliefs/morals, always aches to helps others, generous, empathetic

Looks: Bright blonde long slightly wavy hair, bright blue eyes, pale skin. Wears a simple navy blue sweater, a knee-length black skirt, black ankle boots, and a white pearl necklace.

Personality: Loving, creative, passionate, devoted, protective, highly intelligent, sarcastic at times, friendly, kind, welcoming, always loves people, never judges anyone

Looks: Black slightly wavy shoulder-length hair, bright green eyes, pale skin, freckles. Wears a white long sleeve shirt with red stripes, a jean jacket overtop, ripped blue jeans with black leggings underneath, and black combat boots.

Personality: Sweet, loving, energetic, excitable, kind, outgoing (meaning not shy at all!!! ?), very loud at times, intelligent, silly

Looks: Black straight hair that comes right below his ears, dark brown almond-shaped eyes, pale skin. Wearing a white T-shirt with a red T-Rex on it, a blue jacket, blue jeans, and blue SpongeBob sneakers (have all of the main characters on it but they’re blue like the sea…Ryo is just adorable, y’all. ???)

Age: Technically like 99 or something…but we’re gonna go with more like 25 years old ??

Personality: Strong, devoted, patriotic (obviously! ?), kind, forgiving, never afraid to admit when he’s wrong, friendly, protective

Looks: Blonde slightly wavy hair, blueish-green eyes, pale skin, has a beard. Wearing his Infinity War-style uniform and has his shield (this is aligning with my fanfics, y’all, not the canon MCU, okay? ???)

Other: Has some problems with guilt, and has PTSD

 

And finally!!! My Bucky Boi!!! ???

Name: James Buchanan Barnes (Bucky)

Age: Technically, like 100, but we’re going with 26 ?

Personality: Sarcastic, kind, sweet when you get to know him, loyal to a fault, a bit of a flirt from time to time, pretty quiet most of the time, competitive at times, serious when he needs to be

Looks: Dark brown hair that comes down to his shoulders, bright blue eyes, pale skin, has a beard. Has his black (with yellow stripes) vibranium arm and is wearing his Infinity War-style outfit and has multiple guns and knives on him.

Other: Deals with a LOT of guilt, trauma, and has PTSD.

Oh, and his treatment in Wakanda isn’t over yet, so the trigger words still work on him, so he can still be turned into the Winter Soldier.

 

Oh, and I’m gonna introduce a villain too…bc why not!? ??

Wears a white long-sleeve button up shirt with a black business jacket overtop, a black knee-length skirt, black heels, and red bracelets on both wrists. Also wears a black satchel on her right shoulder that holds a couple items.

Bren watched as his brother’s face fell, eyes looking down at his shoes. The redhead frowned. He stepped over to his brother, gripping his shirt.

“Ronnie?”

Aaron looked at him, a smile now on his lips, but Bren didn’t see the twinkle in his eyes that he usually saw.

Ever since dad had disappeared, Aaron hadn’t been quite as happy as he used to be…

“I’m alright,” He said softly, running a hand through Bren’s soft curls. It didn’t sound very believable though.

“Is…is something wrong with November?” Lily asked.

“Ah…” Aaron looked away, a hand still on Bren’s head. “We…we don’t know.”

Bren frowned, slowly wrapping his arms around his big brother’s torso.

“He…lef-” His eyes rocketed to Bren, “D-Disappeared…”

“We’re out looking for him! Like an adventure!” Bren said.

Aaron let out a mirthless chuckle. “Yea…”

His brows quirked, his eyes looking to Lily, scanning her. “Wait…you said you were…five, when you met him? And he was a teenager? Our…our father isn’t that old…”

Lily gave a knowing smile. “Ah…these castles tend to have a mind of their own when it comes to time.”

Aaron slowly nodded, while Bren cried, “Awesome!”
