@catwing It’s like they can’t understand body language so had to invent a verbal language to make up for their unablity to observe.
Did you know that cats pretty much only ever meow to humans? In the wild, they only meow as kittens as means of calling to Mamma, but when they reach adulthood, they hardly ever meow. But it seems they’ve found meowing to be effective when trying to communicate with us humans. 😀

He has attempted story… Mostly dragon ones.
Me: It needs to be smoother. Try reading it different. [Cause he was reading it]
Him: I’m reading how I wrote it.
Me: You could do shorter sentences and try to make it more clear.
Him: It’s poetry, the dragon is poetic when he sleeps.
Me: *Blinks* Okay.

@catwing Oh, very nice. 😀 I enjoy learning about the ways cats communicate, and I try to communicate to them in the same ways. One of our cats, Minnie, often does a little nod of her head when she see me, to acknowledge me, so I do that back, and I blink slowly at them, which is a sign of trust or affection.
