@perfectfifths, we usually draw the styles of clothing certain people (or beings depending on the book) where
WIP - Decisions
Kapeefer til we're old and greyMarch 8, 2017 at 12:34 am #27230@alia All the time. Most certain characters have a coherent wardrobe, style wise. But sometimes, especially if they have a very bubbly or diva-like personality, their wardrobe can always be different. I stick to the same color palette most of the time. Blondes tend to wear light blues. Girls with dark hair but colored eyes match their clothes to their irises. The more serious characters wear stereotypical black or deep reds. A farmer wears earthy tones, etc.
@ethryndal I’m truly flattered 🙂 I just needed something to do with myself.
@PerfectFifths @kate-flournoy those are absolutely gorgeous! A softness can be clearly seen in her eyes.
@hope I’m going to give Kagan a try. I’m not the best at drawing men, but he reminds me of Inspector Javert, and I absolutely love the character.March 8, 2017 at 2:21 am #27232@hope I think I recreated Bruce Wayne.
March 8, 2017 at 5:07 am #27233@i-j-anderson Joy! That’s amazing! How do you do it? 😀
Also, thanks, I’m glad you liked my version of Lindel 🙂

March 8, 2017 at 6:24 am #27234@PerfectFifths Ha, I shan’t expect a wolf. XD And he is a fantasy character: short jerkin, trousers, a long cloak with a clasp of crossed spears…
@i-j-anderson Wow! That is… That is actually really close. You’ve caught him in a very rare reflective mood, but still, I can see him there. I LOVE IT!!!INTJ - Inhumane. No-feelings. Terrible. Judgment and doom on everyone.
March 8, 2017 at 7:30 am #27235@hope Good to know, thanks. I didn’t want to completely mess up the costume by making it the wrong genre 😉

March 8, 2017 at 1:03 pm #27269Wait… where’d it go? Hm…
March 8, 2017 at 1:10 pm #27272@kate-flournoy Hmmm, it vanished… 😉

@hope Argh! I finished the drawing, but my PC is being slow in loading something or opening something (I ain’t technical 😛 ) so I haven’t been able to stick it up 🙁 I’ll do it as soon as possible 🙂In the mean time, I think I’ll post some characters of my own…
Trajan – son of a nobleman, so in the upper class; tall, fair young man, with blond hair and blue eyes; very kind and brave; wears a cloak (a normal cloak, not anything fur-lined 😛 ) and leather boots; he could have a sword, if anyone wants to add that 😉
Criss – a slave (Trajan’s slave to be exact, but more like his companion) dark hair, light brown eyes, a little tanned; not a big young man but strong from physical work; quiet and reserved; wears a leather cuff on his left wrist and a tag in his left ear to identify him as a slave
Lady Quell – daughter of a lord and Trajan’s childhood friend; blue eyes and light brown hair; wears long dresses, but nothing super frilly or fancy or very bright colours; hair often pulled back away from face, but still hangs down, waist-length; a sweet girl who’s time learning to be a proper lady hadn’t erased her curiosity and sense of adventure
I haven’t “written” anything for these characters (except for a lot of backstory and some plots) but maybe seeing them in picture will help me want to start 🙂

March 8, 2017 at 7:36 pm #27339See, I have the opposite problem as many here. I drew this pic a little while ago and it is still bothering me because I have no clue who she is. So if any of you have a character she fits (or want to make one up) go ahead because I need a name for her. 😀 Also, I’m loving looking at everyone’s art.
Theater kid. Currently depressed because I can't stop listening to sad musicals.
March 8, 2017 at 7:53 pm #27342@christi-eaton That’s amazing! She kinda reminds me of Lindsey Stirling (thehip-hop violinist, if you don’t know 😉 ) with her poofy big hair and her interesting style 🙂
