April 30, 2017 at 9:26 pm #31822@That_Writer_Girl_99 yay! Perfect! Awesome! Amazing! ๐
April 30, 2017 at 10:21 pm #31826@that_writer_girl_99 That’s great! I’ve got exam block in a few weeks. It’s only the third week of term and I’m already exhausted. Last week was production week for our school play The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Now I must get back into the swing of school life and have two assessments due tomorrow!

Wild Australian. INXJ.May 1, 2017 at 12:24 pm #31846Okay, can someone put the picture they drew of Daeus’s Teedletidum’s actually on here, cause I can’t follow the link and I’m dying to see them.
Here, see if anyone wants to draw this person…
He’s an older teen, about eighteen or nineteen. His hair is longer, but not like shoulder length long or anything, just shaggy and long. Like Hiccup. And there’s this one bit that’s always getting in his eyes. But he won’t cut it. Has a straight-lined, not rounded face, classical nose, grey eyes, and a usually thoughtful and faraway expression. Just a few freckles. Looks older than what he really is, looks probably twenty-three or so. His left arm has limited strength and use, as he had an accident when he was a child. He works in an antique shop that deals mainly with time-pieces. He usually wears really old jeans, beat up tennies, and some sort of jacket over a tee. He’s not poor, per-say, he just likes his clothes and doesn’t want to get a new pair of jeans. And he wears this gear-y wrist-watch (meaning it’s cool and has cogs and gears on the outside and such) that the owner of the store gave him.
Well, anyone want to try. I’m not going to discriminate, and I’ll just tag you all. (really because I can’t remember who’s an artist and who isn’t)

Anyhow, I’ve been drawing on and off the past couple of weeks because I’m just so darned busy.
I haven’t drawn anyone specific, so I’m going to picture dump and you guys can adopt them if you’d like.

May 3, 2017 at 6:13 am #32050@i-j-anderson Your third one looks a bit like Maya Walker (my character from the dream story thing…)

Wild Australian. INXJ.May 3, 2017 at 7:58 am #32051@i-j-anderson Those are amazing! How did you learn to draw such realistic people?
Iยดd love to adopt the last one. She looks a lot like I imagined my MC, Marissa, to look like.Read to explore worlds, write to create them.
May 3, 2017 at 12:16 pm #32072@I-J-Anderson *the mortals stand in awe* Seriously. It’s amazing how you do that. And— I think I’m gonna adopt the third one. She looks like one of mine I haven’t named yet. ๐
May 3, 2017 at 1:11 pm #32084I’ll take the second to last one and the fourth one from the top, if that isn’t being too stingy. They’re fantastic drawings!
Um, could anyone draw a character from my WIP, Matthias? Just his face would be fine.
He’s about 15, with curly brownish-blonde hair and blue eyes. He’s got round features and looks a little younger than he actually is. He has a small scar on his cheek, and a brand–kind of like a tattoo–over his collar bone. The tattoo looks like a water droplet.Writer. Dreamer. Sometimes blogger. MBTI mess. May 4, 2017 at 9:34 am #32239So, I don’t know who to tag on this, but…I said I would draw a character bout 7 pages back, but I can’t figure out his mouth. Any tips on how to draw a snarl or evil smirk?

Kapeefer til we're old and greyMay 4, 2017 at 1:39 pm #32251@Alia *chokes* Erm… haha… XD Well, don’t be afraid to draw it crooked and off center. Sometimes the impression is more important than accuracy. Also don’t overdraw the mouth— a few well-placed lines are better than the whole outline, which can sometimes look static and lifeless. As for snarls in particular… quick hint. More than half of a snarl is concentrated in the eyebrows. ๐
May 4, 2017 at 1:40 pm #32252The nose too. If you’re brave enough to snarl at yourself in a mirror, notice how the nose humps in the middle and wrinkles at the bridge.
