@rae yep, his real name is David. Admittedly, I didn’t name him. I stole him, his brother, his girlfriend/wife, and most of his friends from various video games (only one of which I’ve even seen played lol)

The Icewraith-ImperialWing War: part 2

The SpartanWings had searched across the star system, finding no suitable Icewraith heir. They stopped to rest at a town. The SpartanWing chief didn’t want to stay, as the area was known for its two warring syndicates, but his cousin convinced him that the large complex in the center of the city was safe after she’d explored it.

This was Snake’s domain. Here he was, sitting high on his many achievements, fighting his brother’s rival group for territory. He wanted no part in the war at this point, sure Hector would leave this planet alone, but the SpartanWings explained to him that although he didn’t care for the throne, the very fact that he’s a descendant of Kote with magic means he’s on the ImperialWings’ kill list, and that everything around him would be a target as well. He demanded they leave, but shortly afterward realized that if he didn’t help them, he’d effectively be wasting his life on an endless battle for a few feet of land here at the complex, which (like they said) would get destroyed anyway if the war was lost. As the last member of the Icewraith royal family that was eligible to rule, he was their only hope. (He might’ve also been a bit in love with that Icewraith-SpartanWing hybrid I mentioned earlier. She’s a good fit for him, too….lol)

So he and his best friend found them right as they were about to leave and joined them. This is where he is now, where all of you are meeting him–preparing for war.

She could have stayed, but she wanted to know that going back to her world without having to fight was at least an option, though she doubted it would be.
