My mom suggested that I move it to Substack, which I’d never even thought of, so I’m going to do some research on that, but for now I’m using blogger.

Good morning, fellow bloggers. It’s been a loooooong time.

Question for you,
My blog site that I use now (strikingly.com) keeps crashing or not loading for the posts. I’m 68 posts into it.

What do you recommend for a free, ad-free site? (I’m not a fan of ads popping up and either being inappropriate or just annoyingly in the way of the words.) My brother has a Substack, so I’m possibly leaning that way, but wanted to get all y’all’s expertise as well.

Pardon the late answer, I haven’t been on here in a while!

I don’t really have a good answer; I use the free version of WordPress, which does still have some ads, I think, but I honestly haven’t noticed them, and if they pop up, they’re usually at the bottom of the page.

I can’t say for sure that there’s no ads, but I believe Wix and Blogger are both good options too!
