There will probably be quite a few books. @dragon-snapper Far more than eight, I’m afraid. Every story within each story arc will be its own book, like an episode of a TV show. I may make a compilation, but they’re all individual stories, with their own chapters. Although, some people may like long series. There are 12 books in Ranger’s Apprentice for a reason! XD
Anyway, this whole thing, in my mind, I want to eventually become a CG animated TV series, similar to Star Wars Rebels, or Clone Wars, but…well with Aquila. So, all those stories have an additional purpose.
January 4, 2017 at 8:21 pm #23768@leumeister As a tv series, that’s great. And as books, a lot of people may like that. You’ll probably lose a few fans, but I imagine the ones that stay will be especially enthusiastic, which is always good.

January 4, 2017 at 8:36 pm #23769That’s good. I’ll also try to keep the writing consistently well written. If a story isn’t going too well, I may scrap it.
January 5, 2017 at 9:56 am #23780@leumeister Each book having different characters will be much better. Also, I’m just trying to get to the last book in the Ranger’s Apprentice, mainly because I heard that the last one was really good.

January 5, 2017 at 10:10 am #23783Oh dear… Each story have the same MCs in them… :/ I may have different secondary characters, but the main protagonists and antagonists, at least in the first story arc are all the same.
January 5, 2017 at 10:17 am #23785@leumeister Hmm… Well I’ll just have to like it anyway. 😛 Besides, I’m confident that you have very exciting plots, especially if it’s like Star Wars. Don’t change it on my account.

January 5, 2017 at 7:41 pm #23799XD I thank you for your confidence. 😛
Btw, why are you confident in that? You’ve probably never read any of my works save for the excerpt on the front page of this topic. Just curious. 🙂

January 6, 2017 at 7:20 pm #23831@leumeister Excellent question. Mainly because I have faith in any WIP of any writer here on KP. I don’t know… it’s good to confidence, I suppose. 😛

January 6, 2017 at 10:11 pm #23839Regardless of the reason, it’s nice that someone is confident in my ability. 🙂
January 7, 2017 at 1:44 am #23841@leumeister I hope you don’t mind me jumping in here, but I’ve always preferred for a few MCs to stay consistent through a series. It takes me a while to warm up to new characters. 🙂
January 7, 2017 at 2:14 am #23843Oh, I see. That makes sense. Well, you will certainly warm up to Pandora and James. They’re probably going to be the most consistent characters in the whole series.
June 16, 2017 at 5:36 am #35121Hello everybody tagged below!
I’ve got a bunch of unfinished drafts of stories (plus the finished draft for the Pilot for Aquila) and I was wondering if any of you would like to alpha-read some of them (and, perhaps, beta-read the finished draft). I need input on what I’m working on because I’ve got some stories I’m stuck on.
So, for those of you who are interested, how do we go about getting in extraforum contact, or whatever? XD I think it involves the moderators, but I’m not sure…

@Micheal-StantonJune 16, 2017 at 6:57 am #35128You have to email @spradlin (the KP email, I think, not sure though) and ask her to forward to the people you want to send to. That way you get each other’s emails without giving away on the interwebz 😛
Currently reading Les Miserables
June 16, 2017 at 3:43 pm #35179@Leumeister Yep, anyone who volunteers, to get their email address you can email KP—Sarah Spradlin usually answers the emails—and kindly request her to facilitate an address exchange. Within the safe confines of private email. 😀
And I like to beta-read but can’t volunteer ’cause I’m WAY busy and already overbooked with beta-reading stuff currently and yet to do. *bows apologetically* But good luck! (Don’t let that ISTJ ENFP pair drive each other to opposite ends of the galaxy. 😉 )June 16, 2017 at 4:54 pm #35183@Leumeister Yep, just email the KP email. Sarah is out of the country, so I’m currently taking care of emails and can forward emails on to members who need them. 😀
INTJ - Inhumane. No-feelings. Terrible. Judgment and doom on everyone.
