Aww, thank you! 🥰 It takes a lot of Internet searching and listening to a lot of music, lol. 😂 I normally look up: “Character Inspiration Aesthetic Quotes” or look up lyrics from songs I enjoy that remind me of my characters. 😉

Still not one of my top favs, but trying to give him a chance, y’know? 😉 Okay, so…I know you like Tony, girl, but which side were you on in Civil War? 😂 Because I asked my best friend’s sister, who’s fav character is Tony, and she said she was on neither side. They were both being stupid. So…just curious for you, and anyone who wants to answer, which side were you on? (Let’s all be honest now. 😂 We’re all free to have different opinions. Yall it was bad when I watched that scene. Like I tried to hold in my tears and that was the worst mistake because my family knew what was coming and that I was gonna cry (And I knew it too cuz It had been spoiled for me) and they were all like “Are you okay?” And I was just nodding and all of a sudden a legit let out like the most pitiful sob EVER. I will NEVER forget how I sounded…like…no joke.
I literally broke down and could not stop bawling my eyes out, and they were just like “Oh man, are you okay?” Like it was bad yall….it was bad….
I also cried when Loki died and my family knew it was coming and stopped the movie for me to ask if I was okay and hand me tissues cuz they knew Loki was ma boiiiii

Okay so…I was/am team cap for Civil War. That being said! I LOVE TONY, and his POV is COMPLETELY understandable and worthwhile! And I agree with ur friend, they both needed to come together and figure out something in the middle ground.
That being said, Tony gets a lot of hate, and I realize why. He was a cocky, egotistical jerk, and before it would’ve hurt me to say that because I love him, but I’m okay to say that now because I AM A WRITER AND THAT WAS HIS FLAW!
Sad thing is, ppl don’t GET that that Is his FLAW! Don’t hate him for it! Understand that its a FLAW!!!! Everyone has one.
It’s a shard of glass that comes from having a father he felt didn’t love him/believe in him when in reality it was the opposite, so he put on a mask of attitude/pride to make sure no one could get to him like that again.
HOWEVER if u go back and watch all the marvel movies with Tony, now that Endgame and Infinity War has come out, you really se how they were BUILDING UP to Tony’s death/self-sacrifice and arc! It’s really incredible.
His building Ultron, and all of the talks he gives in Civil war and the battles he has within himself and with others.
He’s seen things, the future, and he’s afraid.
He’s afraid of HIMSELF.
He built ULTRON. He made a MISTAKE and doesn’t want it to happen again. Thus, Civil War takes place. Just like in the book save the cat mentions, he tries to correct his mistake in the WRONG WAY.
It’s rlly incredible to see how his character arc flows so consistently.
And Then Comes Peter, and he sees so much of himself in Peter, and tries to steer him in the right direction.
No longer is Tony that cocky, prideful self-centered guy anymore. Yea he still has his personality, and we like that. Honestly if Tony changed entirely it wouldn’t be realistic. He’s still gonna be feisty.
But Peter brought out a new side of him. A fatherly, loving side of him that could open up and be himself. That could give advice and love, and receive it in return. A side he probably didn’t even show Pepper until Peter came into his life.
Slowly his flaw was changing, but it wasn’t fixed. He was still a bit selfish. He still wasn’t where he needed to be. And then the snap happened, and Peter’s disappearance broke him.
That’s when he really changed. No longer would he ever be that selfish man again.
And that’s when he was ready to sacrifice himself for everyone he loved.
OKAY I’M DONE. I GOT WAAAY TO EXCITED BUT UGGGHHH IT WAS JUST DONE SOOO WELL!!! HIS CHARACTER ARC SOBBBBB

@godlyfantasy12. I cried when Tony died, and HE’S NOT EVEN ONE OF MY FAVS! 😭😭😭 I do not think I cried over Loki though. Wellllll…okay, maybe so. He finally changed right there. I don’t remember crying on the OUTSIDE, but on the inside, I was probably bawling. 😅
Also, you make a very good, sound point! So well put! 👏 Now, for me, I don’t hate Tony. HOWEVER I don’t really like him except for Endgame, and he wasn’t too bad in Infinity War either. But, I do not hate Tony. I believe underneath that exterior he really is a good, caring man. (Endgame proved it. *sobs*) But I’m sure all y’all know which side I was/am on even without me saying so. 😂

@freedomwriter76 YOU’RE WELCOME!! Heyy, it’s a start! I mean…I understand both sides, and there were merits and flaws to each…but naturally I connected with Tony more and really understood his reasoning, and so I guess I was on his side. *shrugs* I used to be diehard Team Cap, but Tony has won me over as I’ve gotten older! XD
