(I’m a few days early, but I’ll probably be busy on Monday, so this forum has to go up now😅)
Come Monday, January 27th, Broken Shackles, Book #2 of the Broken and Redeemed Trilogy, the novel that continues the story of Freedom’s Fire, will officially release into the world.
This novel means so much to me, and I hope it touches everyone that reads it as much as it touched me. God used this novel to teach me more about Himself, to bring healing to my broken heart, and used it to show me where I struggled in life and where I needed Him even when I didn’t realize I did.
Come Monday, this novel will no longer be in my hands, but in God’s.
He’s in control.
And I pray that everyone that reads Broken Shackles sees Him in every page.
The Second World War has come to an end, and both Leon Wagner and Riker Schind are forced to live with the aftermaths of suffering and loss.
With the war behind him, Leon begins regaining what few pieces remain of his life before the Concentration Camp. Desperate to provide for his three children and survive in a world reeling from tragedy, Leon searches for hope in all of the wrong places, seeking a release from the pain, hatred, and grief that threaten to drown him daily.
Haunted by his mistakes, a return home for Riker only reawakens shame and the darkness of his past. In a quest to make amends for what he’s done, he helps all those that continue to suffer after the war. But it’s impossible to ignore his sins and much more impossible to forget. Can a man as sinful as him ever be redeemed?
Will Leon and Riker find the only One who can break the shackles that keep them bound? Will redemption come? Or are they doomed to be lost to the darkness forever?
