@dancefree7: Hey, I heard you are a dancer, too! Seeing as you live in Mississippi, I assume you’ve heard of, seen, or attended Ballet Magnificat? I have several friends who have been to the Summer Dance Intensive and I would love to attend myself! I belong to a Christian dance company.

Hi Julia! I’m so sorry I haven’t replied to you; all my email notifications about comments were going to spam… AGGGHHH…. Haha; anyway, yes, I have attended the Summer Dance Intensive, and it is amazing! I highly recommend it. I see that you’re from Ohio; I didn’t meet anyone from Ohio while I was there, but in my counselor group there were girls from Alaska, Puerto Rico, South Dakota, all over. It was so neat; the only reasons I didn’t go back were the price and that I am not going into ballet professionally. If you’re ever in Mississippi in July, you can attend the gala that the students have at the end of each two-week session; each student has been placed in a level, and each level’s dance will really take your breath away. I recommend the one at the end of the second 2 weeks, because the pre-professional level does an almost full-length ballet. Whew, that was a lot, but there is a lot more to say about it, so if you have any more questions, I’d be happy to answer them or get you in contact with someone who can. : ) So glad you’re considering it!
