Sorry it took me a while to reply. I’ve been busy. 😉
It’s been going pretty well, though I didn’t touch it at all during the summer. XD But we’re looking for a new teacher (violin for me, piano for my siblings) Because of all the things we have going this first semester, we’re waiting until the next semester to really start anything. Which I’m glad about. XD School and volleyball have kept me busy.
How about you? And how long have you played?

Oh that’s good! XD Yeah I got sort of rusty during the summer too, because I didn’t have a teacher either. But we just found one (I think I’ll be doing Suzuki strings) so I’ve started trying to spend more time on it xD Since the program is a little more intense than what I’m used to. Right, yeah, I don’t do any sports lol but if I did we would be pretty busy too.
About two years! I tried it for few months when I was 11 or so, but I didn’t really get far, and then I started again when I turned 13. Do you use Suzuki books too?
Oh, I’ve heard of Suzuki before. I might end up doing that one as well.

How’s writing been for you?
I used a program called Essential Elements. But I, for lack of a better word, “outgrew” it, if you will. I’m already a strong note reader because I’ve played piano for a while, so learning violin for me is just a matter of fingerings and all the other stuff.
Writing is… slow. Really slow. XD I haven’t been purposely taking the time to write anything. Some days I don’t have time, but other days I do, but I just don’t do it. There’s a really cool opportunity for me though at the school I’m taking drama at. So, the high school drama class is only four people. We went through some ideas in class, and they found out I was a writer, and so was another person. (Well, only a scriptwriter) So what we might do for the first semester is come up with our own play. We’d all collaborate and come up with a theme, plot, and characters. But me and/or the other writer would write the script. I think it’s going to be a really cool opportunity for me writing-wise and will at least get me writing something throughout part of the school year.

Ohh, okay, I’ve heard of that one! Yep, I pretty much started on Suzuki, and it goes WAY up lol so I’ll be doing it for a while. That’s awesome! I’ve actually never played other instruments (except for a tiny bit of piano, but that was on my own, using youtube xD) so I had to learn note-reading and everything else. Have you learned to switch positions at all yet?
Ohh, gotcha. Right, it’s hard when you want to do other things with the time you have, especially during the school year.
Ooh, that sounds cool! How long have you been taking drama? One of my friends who used to write started doing a script and it was pretty cool! I don’t think she finished it, though.
I’m doing pretty good! Surprisingly I’ve still had a lot of time to write but I’ve been sick the past week so that might be why xD I’ve been working more on Katrin’s story than the cancer one lately.
Random, but have you ever written a short story before?
If I can remember right, I’ve switched positions for a few songs, but not a lot.
This is actually my first year taking drama. The most exposure I’ve had to it beforehand is Sunday school plays. XD

Actually yeah, I have! I’ve written three or four, though the two most recent are the best ones I’ve written. And then I’ve probably written some short stories before when I was younger, I just can’t remember. 😉 Have you?
