Hello everyone, I’m Ben! I just joined this community, and I’m looking forward to participating! (is this the right place to post this?)

    • @ben-dykes
Hi, Ben!:) It’s great to have you here on Kingdom Pen! *waves* I’m Alexa, but you can call me Lexi if you’d like. *gives you a warm mug of tea* Here you go! That’s my welcoming gift around here. 😉 You can definitely introduce yourself here, but you can also post your introduction in the ‘Start Here’ section as well (people might notice you more there)! Anywho, we’re looking forward to having you here, and if you need any help, feel free to ask me! See you around! 🙂

    • Hi Ben!! Great to have you here!
      *offers some german chocolate cake*

Could you tell us a bit about yourself? What’s your favorite genre to write in?

I like to write Sci-fi and fantasy! I’ve published two books (One Fantasy, One Sci-fi) and I’m working on a second part to my sci-fi. (If you like clean sci-fi, feel free to check out The Art of Deception on Amazon by me!)

      • My favorite genre is adventure fiction, my second favorite genre is sci-fi. I may check out your books.

        • @ben-dykes Oh awesome!! I really like adventure as well. Okk! If you ever want a link, just let me know.

How long have you been writing? Could you give a brief description of your current novel?

          • I have been writing since I was 4 years old, but I wrote my first decent book at 9 or 10. I finished my first novel at 16, my current age.

My current novel as in the one I finished or the one I’m working on?

            • @ben-dykes Haha same. My first novel was about a middle age couple trying to escape a post-apocalyptic New York City XD I wrote like three chapters of it, but I had fully intended it to be a novel at the time loll.

Well I’d normally mean the one you’re working on, but whichever you’d like to talk about! (Assuming you like talking about your writing. Some people don’t, and that’s fine!)
