Hello all,
I’m very pleased to have found that Kingdom Pen has started up again, I’ve missed it.
I haven’t written anything for many years, but deep down inside of me, a writer’s fire still burns. So I’m hoping that being back here will the kindle the fire, and it will burst into a flame and burn strong.

P.S. What’s your favorite book of the Hunger Games trilogy?
@leon-fleming Hullo and thank you. Many years ago, there was a family issue and it took a long time for me to recover from it. In the process I had to grow up and shoulder adulthood responsibilities quickly and I lost the fun part in my stories. They became very dark and depressing, so I gave up writing. But I’ve always hoped that one day, I’d be able to write again. Maybe it’s sooner than I realize.
@kathleenramm Thank you very much. Oh my goodness, it’s so hard to decide. I think book 3 made the movies (part 1 & 2) clearer. But I think I’d have to say that I love book 1. The way the book can go inside her head, in a way that the movie can’t, it just adds so much more to her character.May your aim be as true as your heart is pure.

literatureforthelight.wordpress.comHello! I love the Hunger Games too! I think my favourite book was 1. Not a huge fan of the movies but Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson did a great job portraying Katniss and Peeta.
What are some of your hobbies besides writing?
INFP Queen of the Kingdom commander of an army of origami cranes and a sabre from Babylon.
@katniss-everdeen That’s too bad; but hopefully better change will come, whether by pen or page or otherwise. And there’s always a light in the darkness.
That is one of the things I loved most about the Hunger Games trilogy was how you really felt like you were in Katniss’s head. Which really immersed you into the story.
I think that the books and movies compliment each other really well. You get to know the characters better in the books, but then you get the visuals from the films.
I also like that the films put Effie in the Mocking Jay. For a much needed comic relief. XD
Are planning on reading the prequel to the Hunger Games that’s coming out soon?
I was at first a little worried that it was going to be the same story as before, but after hearing that it was going to about President Snow, I’m now really looking forward to it.

Do you have a fav?I didn’t even know that there was a sequel coming out! :O :O :O It will definitely be interesting, but I wonder whether we’ll connect with Snow because we know what he does in the Hunger Games. I’m keen to read it when it comes out tho.

If hours don't turn into daysThis may be the typical answer, but Peeta because he’s the moral compass. And I have a soft spot for bakers.
However I really love how raw, real, and complicated Katniss is. I haven’t watched or read one story that has a character quite like Katniss in it.
May I just say, I have survived the most grueling hungry games in the world. And the longest one too. 8 months since I’ve been here!!!!
Sorry to have disappeared like that, when my name got picked, I wasn’t allowed to say goodbye. But thankfully the odds where in my favor and I am back.
Seriously tho, I can’t believe I haven’t jumped on here for ages. Life has been so crazy, with moving, getting a puppy, 🙂 🙂 🙂 and renovating, plus Christmas and New Year, and studies, and my online biz, I haven’t had much time for anything else. But lately, I’ve started reading again and I’m hoping (fingers crossed) I’ll start writing again.
I do have a story that I’m the middle of editing, so if anyone is keen to do some beta reading for me, just let me know.
