Soooo, for some reason my computer won’t let me go into the book discussion forum🫣 so I’ll just put this here, I guess XD
anywhooooooo, this is a forum for talking/ranting/chatting about Tolkien’s Lord of The Rings!!!
You’re free to post spoilers, but be sure you put a SPOILER WARNING and make sure there’s enough room where someone won’t see it and can skip it (in that try to put gaps underneath the warning and gaps after you finish the spoiler :3)
But since I have become a LOTR fan within the past 2 weeks, and have gotten over 70% through Fellowship of the Ring, I decided I had to make this topic 😂
soooo now we get to chat!!!!
TAGS (feel free to ignore; I don’t remember which of y’all know/love LOTR XD):

May 29, 2024 at 3:24 pm #180178so, if anyone hasn’t realized yet, Aragorn is absolutely, unarguably my favorite LOTR character already, and idk if anyone will be able to change my mind😂
I find him undeniably lovable, and reminds me of a lot of the other characters I love within other books, movies, etc.
also…
how in the world did I forget to tag you??? 🤦🏻♀️😆

May 29, 2024 at 3:26 pm #180179also, let’s try to avoid spoilers as much as possible.
I’ve looked up spoilers already, but I know some people don’t like spoilers, so let’s try to be mindful of that😊
I’m just saying that spoilers aren’t “not allowed” or anything, just be mindful that not everyone likes spoilers, that’s all <3

May 29, 2024 at 3:55 pm #180180I haven’t read it, unfortunately. 🙃😁
I’ll probably stalk this topic anyway though lolFlaz: *yawns* Did the sun just come up? In the west?
May 29, 2024 at 3:57 pm #180181@grcr Girllllll, you should.
Listening to an audio book helps it go down easier😂
and of course…stick around no matter what <3

May 29, 2024 at 4:19 pm #180183EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOTR!
(Idk why, I felt in the mood today for 30 push-ups and now I’m bursting with so much excitement over the smallest things that I’m literally shaking)
so, if anyone hasn’t realized yet, Aragorn is absolutely, unarguably my favorite LOTR character already, and idk if anyone will be able to change my mind😂

Aragorn is totally my fav! He’s so wonderful, and yes, he also reminds me of some of my charries in some ways.
What did you think of the fireworks in the beginning?

@freedom @rae
Aragorn is pretty great, but I dunno if he can top Sam for me.
I haven’t read it, unfortunately. 🙃😁

Any noun can become a verb if you don't care enough.
May 29, 2024 at 5:33 pm #180188It’s been almost five years since I’ve read them, but LOTR is one of my favorite series!!!
The squirrels are collecting more nuts than usual this winter. I've already lost 3 relatives.
May 29, 2024 at 6:46 pm #180194I LOVE LOTR!!!
Aragorn is definitely one of my favorites, but my favorite is Pippin (for reasons you’ll have yet to see lol). Also Samwise, cause he is the ultimate friend and a complete chad XD
Definitely would recommend the Peter Jackson film adaptations when you’re done reading LOTR, they are pretty good.

May 30, 2024 at 10:32 am #180198I’ve been watching the films since I was six years old, and my dad reads the series out loud pretty consistently (although we haven’t finished the books yet as a family). So yeah, I guess you can say I’m a fan XD
Aragorn and Sam are the best. Both are god-tier likable characters and Aragorn is the pinnacle of masculinity.

May 30, 2024 at 10:37 am #180199That one scene with Pippin in – I think the second movie? (Maybe the third.) When battle starts and he’s still with the steward? 🥺

#AnduthForever (hopefully 💕)May 31, 2024 at 12:04 am #180272Ooh, this series. XD I read LotR a couple years ago and have returned to it several times since. I haven’t seen the movies, though, as an observant friend of someone who grew up on them, I do have plenty of opinions.
Aragorn is your favorite character? I do love Strider, his amazingness, and overall mysteriously subtle majesty. My favorite though is probably Sam. Or Frodo. Or maybe Faramir…or Pippin.

Fork the GorkMay 31, 2024 at 12:55 pm #180299That was a pretty good scene, Pippin and Merry’s roles in the second and third books (and the movies) were some of my favorite parts in the series
