Um… hi 👋
It’s been like a solid year since I’ve been on here regularly, but I’m back!! 👉👈😬😅 I just had a wonderful mix of school, life, regular busyness, and of course the ever terrible writers block. But I’m starting to get back into writing and also I just like you guys, so Hi! Long time no see! And to everyone new, hello, nice to meet you!
And @evelyn-collins I started your Star Wars fanfic and I promise I’m going to finish it! So sorry for ghosting after saying I’ll read it 😭
Oh and for anyone new that I haven’t already talked to, an introduction:
I’m a Christian, teen homeschooler who likes to write, surprise surprise. I have a lot of different hobbies and am not too great at any of them; writing, art (mostly just pencil drawing, although I’m starting to get into digital art too), music, photography, watching way too many movies (nvm I’m great at this one), and I’ve recently gotten into filmmaking. I also do a little musical theater.
And some questions so I can get to know you:
1. Favorite thing you have written?
2. Stranded on an island. If you like music, what are five songs or five albums that you would want to have if you were stranded on an island? Basically top five, whether through quality or sentiment.

4. Favorite movies or tv shows?
5. If you could make any activity an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance of winning a medal for?

I haven’t seen it yet 😭 I need to rewatch season two first, and then definitely. I surprisingly haven’t spoiled it for myself though. (I remember I spoiled Luke showing up in the mandalorian for myself 😭 that hurt) I think I just heard something about Tech, and so now I’m scared.

Hi! I’m The Ducktator, also known as Abigail. I rule over a vast ducktatorship, filled with a multitude of interesting ducks. I love reading, writing, dancing, birding, and ducks. My current favorite thing I have written is a short story with the title longer than the story. It’s in the Place to Share topic. If I could take 5 albums to a desert island I would bring Hyns for the Christian life by the Gettys, Songs, by Rich Mullins, Precious Memories by Alab Jackson, Maddy Prior Christmas CD, and whatever Blues Brothers CD we have in our car. Books? Probably my Bible, Anne of Green Gables, and 3 random Freddy the Pig books. They are my comfort books. My family doesn’t watch a lot of TV, but I like musicals and veggie tales, especially Jonah. If I could make an activity that I’m good at an Olympic sport, I would pick hide and seek. I’m the house champion. Nice to meet you, and welcome back!

Welcome back! I’m Trailblazer, and I joined last September, but I can’t remember if we’ve met before or not, so I figured I’ll introduce myself again lol. Aside from reading and writing (the obvious ones), I enjoy photography. And to answer your questions…
1. Favorite thing you have written?
That’s like asking me to pick a favorite child… I honestly don’t think I can pick. Most of what I write is contemporary or historical fiction, but I did some journalism during my one year in public school, and I enjoyed that. Probably my favorite article I wrote was one I did interviewing people who were in Washington DC on January 6, 2021.
2. Stranded on an island. If you like music, what are five songs or five albums that you would want to have if you were stranded on an island? Basically top five, whether through quality or sentiment.
Hmmm… of all time? I think I’d have to say Abbie Gamboa’s album Pure would be in there, and TobyMac’s This Is Not a Test. Aside from those two, I can’t really come up with albums. I like a lot of UPPERROOM’s music, and a number of songs from For King and Country, but I don’t know if I could give a solid top five.
3. Stranded on an island but five books.
1, Dragons in Our Midst/Oracles of Fire/Children of the Bard series by Bryan Davis (okay I know that’s technically twelve books in all, but give me any of those and I’ll be happy)

4, my Bible (that should really be #1)

4. Favorite movies or tv shows?
Jesus Revolution is by far my favorite movie, but in general I’m not a huge movie/tv show person
5. If you could make any activity an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance of winning a medal for?
Hmm… well, I enjoy hiking, but I don’t know if I’d do well enough to win a medal. As I mentioned, I enjoy photography, so I’d probably have a better shot at that.

Hmm… well, I have a lot of interests, but I’m not that good at any of them :p So I have no idea.

Ooh, I love for King and Country! I actually got to see them in concert, which was incredible, but I left with my ears ringing. I know I can’t give one, but I love Priceless, Burn the Ships, Fight on Fighter, It’s Not Over Yet, and The Proof of Your Love.
I haven’t heard of any of those books, I’ll have to go check them out! Except for the Bible, definitely know the Bible 🤦♀️
I’ve been wanting to see Jesus Revolution for a while. I’ll have to move it higher on the list! Do you have a favorite thing you like to photograph? I mostly do nature and I really like finding abstract patterns.
