My favorite part of Kingdom Pen is the Forum. Interacting and sharing, and just plain goofing off with other writers has been such a blessing to me. I had no idea before how much I needed a community to help and encourage me in my writerly pursuits.
The picture prompts would probably be a close second, along with the helpful articles and other cool stuff.
Not to forget the great staff of Kingdom Pen. Y’all are truly awesome! 🙂
<3 "just plain goofing off" = one of my favorite pastimes. Y'all are pretty awesome yourselves. 🙂
I love EVERYTHING about Kingdom Pen. Seriously. I can’t think of anything I DON’T like about KP. I love getting to know people on the forum, the awesome articles, short stories, and poems I get to read from other people, and the helpful, honest feedback anyone’s willing to give about my writing.
Kingdom Pen Staff, you guys are amazing! Thanks for doing what you do. You really are making a difference through encouraging Christian teen writers. Now that I’ve been involved on KP for a few months, I can say that I’ve learned soooooooooo much about writing just in the last few months being on KP with y’all. 🙂 So thank you, KP staff, for being awesome and having a heart for Christian teen writers! You guys rock.
Dawwwww. We think you guys rock, too! 😉
One of my many favorite things about Kingdom Pen is everyone’s passion for CHRIST!!! Your faith is very important as a writer because it influences what you write. I love that everyone is willing to take feedback, knowing that it will only help them grow as a writer. I also love the community! Everyone is unbelievably friendly, and their love for Jesus comes through in everything they say. And, finally, the amazing staff! You guys are always there to help and teach, and I am so grateful to you all! Each and every one of you is a HUGE blessing to me…! 🙂 Thank you!!!! 😉
*sending many hugs and much love from Georgia* Reading these comments definitely brightened my Sunday. I really love this point you made, Ingrid: “Your faith is very important as a writer because it influences what you write.” That is so true! What I think is cool too is that what you /read/ influences what you believe, and we as Christian writers have the chance to influence our culture for the greatest Good of all, Christ! 🙂
One of my favorite things about Kingdom Pen is being able to meet other Christian writers; being able to get good advice, give (hopefully) good advice 😉 and being able to hold conversations about how to portray Biblical themes in books.
Wow, you know it’s hard to add to that. So let me just recap the three points. Everything. Everything. Everything. And Everything. Yep, I got all three of them. I’d have to really agree with Rolena and Josiah though, the community is da bomb. You literally can’t have one single problem without somebody helping you. Not one! It’s like, “Nooo, I want to fail!!!” “No, we won’t let you!!!!!!” Speaking of it being a Rivendell. *Considers high drama. Considers raspberries. Chooses raspberries. Toasts raspberries to the long life of Kingdom Pen*
*begins playing “Everything Is Awesome” from LEGO Movie shamelessly* Also, that example about the problem is so true. xD
What is there not to like about Kingdom Pen??? I love it when my stories get critiqued. It is so helpful for me. And if I ever have a problem with my writing, I jump onto the forum and get so much great feedback. I also like the topic that we’ve started called “Writer’s Corner” where you write for a certain amount of time with someone else. It really helps me to stay focused and ignore those distracting things. Or I could just say what Daeus said: Everything!
I also love the competitions. 🙂
*makes note to check out the writer’s corner* *continues playing “Everything Is Awesome”*
Yeah! The writers corner. Don’t know why more people don’t huddle there. It’s da double bomb.
Wow, I’m gone for a few hours and I miss this beauty!
I’ll have to agree with Rolena and Josiah and Daeus— the community. Specifically the forum— it’s helped me grow so much, and encouraged me beyond belief. Just to know there are other people like me out there— that itself goes so far in encouraging me to persevere.
Close second (though I love everything! 😀 ) is what Reagan said about impacting the culture for Christ. The next generation of Christian writers, guys? That’s us. That’s you and me. And KP does such a wonderful job of encouraging us to not merely write for Christ, but write WELL for Christ. I love that.
Everything is awesome. I could go on and on and on about all the different things I love. 🙂
I will add one more thing, though— I love how friendly the staff is. Really, I know, what else should I expect? But I just find it very… inspiring that you guys on the staff are like friends to all us ordinary KeePers. 😉 Instead of just everyone’s terrifying stereotype of an editor. 😛
Thanks for everything you do. I feel like I say that a lot, but I don’t think I can say it too much. You guys are truly awesome.
*brandishes red pen* I mean, we could always bring these guys back. 😛 Jk, we like you guys too much for that.
Yup, everyone got it right. EVERYTHING IS AWESOME! Thank you so much to the staff for all their hard work, and thank you to everyone else that contributes by articles, submissions, and most of all, the forum.

Everything! Seriously, I love it all! But I think the forum would have to be my absolute favorite part. Everyone’s so nice and helpful, and I’ve learned so much, even through the short amount of time I’ve been involved. And the staff is amazing! 😉
I agree with Kate: I could go on, and on, and on about all the different things I love. 🙂 But if I’d have to choose one more thing, it would probably be the KP radio …oh, and the picture prompts (okay, that’s two things, but what can I say?! They’re both awesome!)
Thank you so, so much for all that you do! 😀
KP Radio is also my jam! XD It definitely makes my Monday mornings better. 😉
And I thought of an other thing: I love meeting people who are Christian writers just like me. It’s nice to know that you’re not the only different person in the world.
And even just making new friends is fun too. I have made friends with a really nice girl who patiently answers all the questions I keep dumping on her. 🙂 (thx Sarah)
😀 Fortunately for you, I like answering questions. 😉
