*sniff* you forgot my tag. *cries* It least I couldn’t miss the BIG title.
I tend to be fairly basic in my reading, so I’m guessing that a lot of books will be picked that I haven’t read [you’re going to fall over backwards, but such as LoTR] *I’ll get to it one day* But if I can join in I will. 🙂 -

@Daeus and @kate-flournoy Thanks so much for the in-depth critiques! It’s great to know that I can give you some of my writings to read, and you won’t say it’s good when it’s actually not. 🙂

@vanna Hey, I’m late to the party, as usual…anyway, welcome to KP, the bestistest…bestiestst…the awesomest place on the internets! 😉 *waves*
Ooohhhh, fantasy! I love fantasy, too. 🙂 YES, LORD OF THE RINGS! I’m kind of obsessed with LOTR. 😛 -

@daeus I won’t be available to write tomorrow. Sorry. 🙁 We can do separate half hours if you want to. I’m all for it. 🙂

-
BlueJay replied to the topic Writer's Corner in the forum General Writing Discussions 10 years ago
@kate-flournoy @daeus 708. A slow start as it is a new story, so I had some working out to do, but it began to move along as time went by.

We need to have a doctor on staff when Tessa’s asleep and I’m not qualified.
It’s weird to have someone write that you’re asleep. Anyway I’m here. Definitely green. But only the alien will stay green @daeus. It is quite normal, although I think @kate-flournoy to it to another level, for someone to turn green when sick with shock. So @hope, you…[Read more]

@faithdk thanks for dropping in. 🙂 I think I’ll end up putting a tree in, just because it is a story for children. I might make it a bit easier for a child to visualize.

Awwwwww…..thanks @kate-flournoy you just made my day. *wipes happy tears with a tissue*
Do you think she needs a tree near the house to get down? I know cats can drop and land on their feet, but would it be better for her to climb down? Would that be nicer for a child to hear/read? -
BlueJay replied to the topic Writer's Corner in the forum General Writing Discussions 10 years ago
@daeus Congrats. That’s a great idea. Maybe I should do that too…
@kate-flournoy I know, I’m so relieved to have solved it. Head back to the topic at the missing cats and tell me if my idea would work. (and you too @daeus) -

With much thinking of myself as a cat 🙂 I have decided that the attic is the best option. So this is how it works.
Matt takes a load of empty boxes to the attic and leaves the door open. Missy, curious cat, enters and when Matt returns he doesn’t see her due to the boxes. He dumps the next load and shuts the door. Missy is trapped. But a small…[Read more] -

@kate-flournoy and @daeus I got lots done. I’m not sure how many words exactly as I have been all over the place in my story but I got it all sorted out. I had some major problems in it. Time was the main issue, but that’s all done. *Very happy*
