@Sarah Thanks! Hopefully it will get smoothed out a bit as I go through the many critiques I have received 🙂 Actually, yes it did. Sort of. I came up with the original idea for Forgiven this past August/September but since then, during the outlining stage, I’ve read Ender’s Game multiple times.

I guess you could call it an apocalyptic sci-fi fantasy 🙂 The apocalyptic and fantasy parts come later in the story.

Cool! The only thing I’ve read by Peretti was a book he coauthored with Ted Dekker (House). Which was… interesting… 😛 My first ever horror-story. Quite possibly my last.
