@christi-eaton I regret to inform you that I have read none of the books you listed. Welp. *rolls out mile-long book list* *grabs pen*
@emily and @salome01w4g What are your favorite genres to read? -
Kate Flournoy replied to the topic So…I need some MORE advice in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years, 7 months ago
@Dekreel honestly and unfortunately, no. You could outline your novel from the beginning (before you ever write anything) but that still won’t ensure that your story idea won’t change as you were writing it. In fact, it probably will, and that’s a good thing because it means your story is alive.
I’m a perfectionist too. I think I would have been…[Read more]

@lightniningmouse Oh, that’s a great idea. I don’t have a Spotify account, sadly, but writing them down or something is a good idea…*grabs pen*

A series I would highly, highly, highly recommend is The Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall. Those are really cute books. Has anyone read those?

*pops in* Despite your “duck”, I believe I must ask you to leave, @salome01w4g. *pops out*
*pops back in* That was a joke, btw. 🙂 I don’t read certain genres either. *pops out for good* -

@daeus
Keep writing it. It’s not worthless at all. 😉
And about the diary vs. just first person narrative thing, do it the way you started to. If you don’t like it after a while, change it.
My words of wisdom for the day… 🙂 -

@DAEUS WHY DIDN’T YOU TAG ME FOR THIS. I MISSED IT. *horrified sobbing that trails off into pathetic wails*
We is upset. *scowls* Don’t do it again.
*coughs* Yes. Anyway. After all that drama, I have nothing to say after all, because I love it. And you should definitely write it, because I want to read it.
So write it. -

@dekreel *grabs and shakes you like a rag-doll* YES YES YES. YAY YAY YAY. You will like it better hereafter. SO. MUCH. MORE. And I know how good it is already, even only halfway through. You just wait. The length is so worth it. *pumps your hand insanely* You just wait.
Also, I’ve read Night by Elie Wiesel. It’s so sad, but it’s a good one.

@Emily Hey, I’m a native. I was born and lived there the first few years of my life. It’s my state too, so I can insult it if I want.
Anyway, I stepped in a fire-ant hill with bare feet in sandals there, so my memory is slightly tarnished. But OTHER THAN THAT, it’s great. ;PYup, I’ve watched The Princess Bride. Love it to pieces.
