Same here. Love the Princess Bride reference, though. Best 404 I’ve seen. XD

@zoe-wingfeather Cool! So what’s the book you’re working on now?
OH YES. I really want to do an ending rewrite sometime. I haven’t read the wingfeather saga, but the red rock mysteries…. need a new ending. It was perfect. Except for the last book. I still haven’t forgiven the authors for that one. 😛
Hey, that sounds pretty cool! You should post…[Read more] -

Nice writing! Same problem as a few other peeps with having pretty much no idea who anyone is. (Except Arthur and Edmund. 😛 )
I’d say to change the beginning. To quote KM Weiland: You want your readers to keep reading because of a question and “What the heck is going on?” is not a valid question.
It’s good to hold off telling everyone exactly…[Read more] -

Thanks, @kate-flournoy! 😀 I had that idea right after finishing the gingerbread part. I was just “YES I NEED TO DO THIS.”
Yay! I’m so glad you liked it, @jadamae! I love it when non fans still like the fanfiction. 🙂 Still, you should watch the show. 😛 -

*slowly raises hand* I’m an S. That’s my most solid preference, actually. But I only know like one other S type writer, so your pattern is a thing, @daeus. 😛

Cool! That’s actually somewhat along the lines of where I was going with Finnian, so that’s good. 😉*covers Quinn’s ears* YES. Any… *ahem* suggestions for Quinn’s hardships? 😛
Okay, so my brother pointed out that it would be hard to have the ticking-time-bomb element be the colony’s lack of food without some sort of dip…[Read more]

@zoe-wingfeather
Yeah, it’s kinda new for me having it short. But it’s really fun. 🙂
So, what’s your favorite thing to write? I’m gonna go out on a limb and say fanfic is one of them… 😉 -

This is really weird. INFJs are supposed to be the rarest type, but they make up most of the people I know.
ENTJ, @hope? Cool! I didn’t think I knew any ENTJs. 😛 -

1. A spoilery death in Horatio Hornblower (KATE, COME CRY WITH ME)
2. Again, sacrifice. Literally the last thing on this character’s mind was himself. He was dying and he knew it, but was trying to not make a big deal out of it for his friend’s sake. He was his old, cheerful self right up to the end. *deep, calming breath* So, sacrifice,…[Read more] -

Okay… *cpr on topic*
So I’m plotting this one right now and I think I might know where I’m going. (Which I didn’t for the longest time because there were a million different directions I could take it.)
The questions I need you guys for are: Where would you expect this to go from here? And what would you be disappointed if I didn’t do? -

There once was a garbageman fair
Who had sparkling teeth and blond hair
He never quite knew
Why young ladies said “Eeew”
And the ones that really liked him were rare. -

@daeus Aaaah… that makes a little more sense. XD Funny though, you’re an ENFJ so your brother would be the letter opposite of you… we have a few of those in our family. My mom and dad are actually letter opposites. 😛

@daeus How do you figure?
In that case, any guesses for what the rest of us are? Or at least how we come off on here? 😛 -

Yay for MBTI! 🙂
Let’s see… my tally at the moment is an ISTJ, an ESFP, an ENFP, an ESFJ and an ISTP.
That’s not counting short stories and books I’m plotting. 😛
Anybody have a favorite type to write? I think I’ll have to go with ESFP for that one. 😉 -

@bluejay I was thinking along the lines of a retelling. But that seems, in retrospect, a bit complicated for the length we’re doing in this topic.
Here, have a new prompt.write about a world where the hokey-pokey really is what it’s all about.

@kate-flournoy and @sarah-h
Heh. Sorry. I thought I deleted that afterwards.
So there’s this thing on OYAN called spoilers that you can do with coding. It sort of condenses the post size a little and (as the name implies) hides spoilers. I was seeing if it worked on here.
Obviously it does not.
And neither does the delete button. -
