@Daeus I’m… writing? 😛 More like sitting staring at my screen asking myself ‘wut r words’ and dabbing my nose with tissues and trying not to sneeze everywhere because I have a cold… but it makes me happy that I’m trying… sort of… I’ll try a bit harder, I guess. Just don’t expect stunning results. XD

@Emma-Flournoy *winces* Subtlety is a virtue, my dear. And if it isn’t it should be.
And I like the font as it is. That’s one of my favorite fonts. If popular vote demands I suggest another I shall do my best, but I really don’t think the font needs to be changed.

@Daeus you poor thing. @Emma-Flournoy we are sticklers for grammatical excellence around here. *glowers*
*sighs**rubs eyes* Okay. How about this. How about we play politicians here and work out a compromise. Is there some way you could make it grammatically correct to use both plummets and tangled plots? You’d need a transition of a few words—…[Read more]

@Daeus yes! I love it!
@Christi-Eaton I read it as ‘Forced to confront everything he fights for—shattered; everything he cherishes— put to the test, and a long hidden truth’ etc. The everything he fights for is shattered, and he has to confront that about it.

@Daeus oh dear. That’s awful. Try a little perspective next time. I hear it works wonders.

@Daeus WHAT YOU WERE SITTING HERE WORRYING ALL MORNING??? 😛 Loosen up a bit. XD

@Daeus sorry I’m late again… @Hope wasn’t kidding when she said I had mice in the wifi box. Seriously. Twelve of them. They were promptly ejected, but they did mess things up quite a bit… 😛
And that definitely sounds like it could work; your idea. I especially like the idea about the letter. One word of caution— I can tell you from personal…[Read more] -

Your graphic designer is going to hate me for that… 😛

@Daeus here I am! Returned from the dead!
*dives into critic-mode* Okay, I like it? First problem is it doesn’t fit the genre. Not sure it quite looks like a romance, but it doesn’t really fit the story. Some of that may be because of the boring brick wall but you said that’s going, so… yeah. For an action/adventure though it’s too calm and…[Read more]

No… maybe I should just wait until the internet connection isn’t so spotty. That shouldn’t affect it, but maybe it does. And I’m about to lose signal anyway…

@Daeus oohhh, I really like it. I would say yes, probably better to get your name matching the title. Also, a bit more technical piece of criticism here… my inner graphic designer is screaming at me that there should be more motion in the picture. It’s a lovely dramatic picture (love the shadows of the houses and such) but a lot more could be…[Read more]

@Daeus soooo… I read Cry the Beloved Country. I absolutely loved it. It’s a really unique book— not just the odd original punctuation, but the style, and the relative flatness of the plot, and yet it’s such a stirring book. It’s like reading a poem or something. 😀 Also it was a thinking book, not a preaching book, which I love for obvious…[Read more]

@Audrey-Caylin not at all. I’m guessing this is probably something we all go through at one point or another. Glad I was in a position to help. 🙂

Hello @Audrey-Caylin! So great to have you here!
And this is an awesome discussion. It never really gets old. ‘Christian fiction’ can actually be a pretty broad category depending on your perspective and definition, but I’ll do my best to give the short answer that pretty much sums it all up for me, otherwise we’d be stuck here until we turned…[Read more]
