@Aratrea yep. And you’re not the first person to tell me that. 😛 It’s a little more complicated in that they had no choice in their marriage to each other; it wasn’t for love. But yes, they are on opposite sides of the war, and yes, that is their primary distinction. (She’s the twin sister of one of the villains. It’s… complicated. 😛 )…[Read more]

@overcomer See you soon. 🙂 I’ll be here, plodding along on this poetry. (I normally like poetry, but when I have to do it for school, it’s a different story)

Well… you guys inspired me. I did a sketch of the same character, @PerfectFifths, and though it isn’t a perfect likeness I’m pretty happy with it. (Me being a perfectionist and all. 😛 )
Voila.

@ethryndal, lol Just write, even if it’s terrible. 😉
@overcomer, I’m writing poetry and an essay for school, so I guess I’ll join in. (Although it’s not as fun as writing something of my own volition 😛 ) -

@Delightinlife Hi, Bella! Welcome to this wonderful place of craziness and writing! I loved the Bronze Bow! (And Pride and Prejudice was pretty good too) Have you read The Giver by Lois Lowry also? I liked Number the Stars, but not as much as the Giver. 😉
I hope to see you around the forum! Just jump right in! 😀 -

@DelightInLife they’ve already said it, but welcome again!
Sir Malcolm and the Missing Princes— yesssss! I love that one. I personally think the audio drama is better, but the book is still lovely. Have you read/listened to The White Gypsy? -

Heyyyy… that’s actually fairly accurate! *grins* Her face and hair especially, for some reason. Thanks @PerfectFifths— great job. I love the little basket. <3

Random character dump alert.
Handil. Male, early twenties. Fantasy scientist/astronomer turned reluctant king. Bold; scatterbrained but confident. Can be insensitive. Usually a mess of several different mismatched outfits with chemical stains on his hands, bleach stains in his hair, and a grin on his face.
Fereleth. Female. Thousands of years…[Read more]

@I-J-Anderson wwwwwowwwwwww… you are truly talented. And I can say that ‘professionally’ because I’m an artist myself. All of those drawings are gorgeous.

Okay.
1. Arianwen, MC’s wife and also the only other person in existence who has the kind of special power Harold does, though hers is water. Classic, I know. EIL: That however corrupt the world has become, it’s still worth saving, and man can save it.

Okay… *deep breath* I should have done this directly after listening to the lesson, but life, so oh well. Here goes.
‘Nother note… *facepalm* I rearranged the theme of this story AGAIN because I realized that the supporting themes were not as much Morality and Truth as they are Morality and Hope. What does man hope in? So. Just bear that in…[Read more]
