@seekjustice Remember, @jenwriter17 shipped Justice and Chessy, so she must have liked him a bit. 😉

Your opinions on Justice? Did you like him or not?
(Did anyone like Justice excepting my sister?)

@seekjustice, @rochellaine, just to be clear, beta readers are kind of what y’all are doing with @valtmy ‘s and what you did with Seekjustice’s book, right? where you read it part by part and critique it?

Hey, I was wondering if you would do a favour for me? You’ve given me some invaluable feedback on Stars Fill Infinity but would you mind filling out the questions at the end of the second book? Just so I can get some more indepth thoughts on that one as well? Thanks!
Anyone around?

Never mind 🙂 People often point out my own misinterpretations of my own writing. At least you can be excused for mixing up minor details 😛
Well, originally he was there to get around the plot hole in Les Mis–the fact that no one recognised Javert until it was convenient, even though there were three people at least who should have…[Read more]

That’s good! I hope things make more sense in the second draft.
Well…that wasn’t Mathias who let them go. That was one of the wharf men.
Observe (that word makes me feel smart, you see):
Instead I met the eyes of a bearded man who looked even more startled than I did. His mouth was open, and he was staring down at Rain and I…

Sorry for the late reply, I was out all day yesterday and have only just got back from church now.
Basically, I fixed most of the things you pointed out Valtmy, in the second draft and I fixed it quite simply. Unfortunately though, I don’t know what to do with character of Mathias. :/
I agree with pretty much everything you…[Read more]

@valtmy Sorry, I went to sleep early last night, so I’m replying now. 🙂
Ah, haha. Now that I put you through all the trouble of explaining I suddenly remembered that SeekJustice put a big backstory scene in with Maria in the second draft. 😛 I think she’s already thought through all those issues and will fix them as she finishes the second d…[Read more]

@valtmy I have never fully read Les Mis, actually. I’ve skimmed it and read parts of it, and read the synopsis several times, so I know a lot of the story, but I would say I could probably give a pretty near perspective of a reader who hasn’t read Les Mis. 😉 What “contrived resolution” are you referring to? Because you mentioned several th…[Read more]

@valtmy Sorry I disappeared! I got called away and haven’t had a chance to get back until now.
@seekjustice Are you around? I finally am sitting down again after a birthday party for my sister, singing for a while with our guests, family worship, and then chatting till now it’s nearly one o’clock. 😀 Lots of fun stuff going on today!! I’m wid…[Read more]

@valtmy Yes, I understand that. I had the same problem with her second book. 🙁 I did manage to get extremely attached to the guy who ended up dying, but since I already knew he was going to die it wasn’t a shock or anything when he did.
Ok, it’s time for breakfast so I’m going to depart.
What time is it where you live?

@alia This is cool! Are we allowed to print it off and use it for our own characters?
