I would say that a parody is a work that pokes fun at another work or a certain genre of works. For example, so far in my WIP every single one of the drama performances is based on a real life show. 😛

Maybe I should stop calling it a romance parody but a things-I-have-watched parody.

For lack of a better description, yes, my WIP is a romance parody.

I think I’ll do some editing and upload my new chapters soon. Hopefully I’ll have more motivation after that.

Haha I talked with her for a little while about this before and she says angsty parts can be hard too.

I do have enough new material to put up for beta reading though so maybe I’ll do so for a change of pace. But I’ll have to get over myself before I can do that.

Yep. Trying to get myself to write the last few sentences of chapter 6 so I can finally move on to chapters 7 and 8… *sigh*

I feel like the quality of my writing has been declining. Thinking about putting what I just wrote up for beta reading is giving me the shivers.

It’s a novel but how long, I have no idea. I know how it begins, I know how it ends and I have some hazy idea as to what happens in the middle but it’s not definite. I guess you can say I’m writing by faith 😛

Oh. I think I have lots of those in my WIP 🙂 but bantering is not really what I’m writing now. This part is a culmination of a lot of things and where some of my plot threads meet so I’ve been looking forward to writing it for a looong while. 😀

Haha. For me the problem is that chapter 6 is kind of angsty while chapter 7 is so much more fun. It’s like the dark before the dawn. 😛
