@savannah_grace2009 I know you also said Tina doesn’t really have time for boys but that might just add to the story, if Bennett finds her spunkiness interesting and they start off just as friends because Tina doesn’t want to think about a relationship, and then later on realizes she likes him. Maybe Bennett gets to know Will first, but takes…[Read more]

@savannah_grace2009 I think Bennett and Christine would fit together really well! Unfortunately, he’s not at this part due to a mishap earlier in the day (mentioned in my earlier RP) but he’ll be coming around in the future. They’re both still young though, so any romance between them would have to stay pretty light and not get too serious until…[Read more]

@everyone
Liliana
Liliana sidled up next to Adeline as they entered the house. Attending parties was fun for about an hour, until the novelty wore off. But this time, she didn’t know anyone else in attendance, and most of the other guests appeared to be older than twenty. Even Bennett wasn’t along this time, since he’d been soaking wet when…[Read more]

Just an idea… but I think Hans and Anna would be cute together… I know @grcr suggested Anderson Thurman could try to arrange a marriage between Adeline and Hans, but maybe we could use that to our advantage. Neither Hans or Adeline want…[Read more]

Here is a little more….
A few weeks later, I was perched on a hard wooden pew listening to one of Reverend Bradshaw’s sermons on the mercy of God. Clara was seated next to me, her fingers playing with the handkerchief in her lap.
“Rise for the closing hymn,” Reverend Bradshaw directed. We rose, and as throa…[Read more]

Introducing the Thurmans… Whenever your conversation’s at a good breaking point, they can show up at the party! (Also, James is just an extra character that popped up lol)
Bennett
The ticking of the grandfather clock was the only thing that broke the stiff silence in the sitting room of the Thurman estate. The air was…[Read more]

I literally created a whole new family just for this lol. I’m still nailing down the descriptions but so far this is where I’m at….
Meet the Thurman family:
Anderson, age 52, is a successful and wealthy judge. He has become absorbed in his reputation and that of the Thurman family, and as a result has become emotionally…[Read more]

@savannah_grace2009 Oh girl, that sounds like me! The braids all the way… and I had a bonnet, but unfortunately no dress. I used to create forts with bedsheets and pretend I was in a covered wagon lol.

@hybridlore I went through a huge Little House phase when I was in elementary school, so it doesn’t surprise me that this reminds you of it lol.

@grcr I’ve never read or watched Pride and Prejudice, but that theme still sounds like fun! (I did read the Elsie Dinsmore series; idk if that’s at all close to the same theme??) I might be able to dig up an old family from some stuff I did years ago.

😅 yeah… (I don’t know either……)

Yeah I’ve never read/watched that either XD

but could be fun!

I have multiple WIPs from multiple genres, and sometimes I’m working on them simultaneously, so wanting to write two different books in different genres is pretty normal. (Unless I’m abnormal lol)

Thanks! That helps to clarify things! I didn’t realize Mormons and Latter Day Saints were the same. But that makes more sense now!

@thearcaneaxiom I’ve also heard the egg explanation, too, but to me the liquid/solid/gas makes more sense.
Also, I’m just curious why Latter-Day Saints go door-to-door to talk to people. I’ve heard that it’s required? What is it required for?
Then again, I could be wrong, or maybe I’m thinking of Mormons. Honestly, I get the two mixed up a lot…[Read more]

Kari
My phone! Kari, standing off to the side, suddenly remembered. Why hadn’t she thought of it before? If she could call someone, then perhaps they could assure her she was fine, and hadn’t lost her sanity. She jerked her phone from her back pocket, turning on the home s…[Read more]

Yes, that’s pretty close what I’m getting at, in a nutshell.
I’ve also heard the trinity explained this way: we know that water is a liquid, but changes forms to be either ice or steam when frozen or heated. It’s the same thing, but in three different forms. That’s how I see the trinity- three different manifestations of God. He…[Read more]

I don’t mind if Kari and Ottoline don’t get along at first! A little conflict is good for the story. Kari’s faith is a big part of her life so that sort of seeps out of her, but as a little background she’s had some stuff in her past, too. Not nearly as intense as Ottoline’s, but her father died in an accident when she was…[Read more]
